I wish there was a way to make it so she couldn't get to the front seat with this product. Right now that isn't the case and it makes me give it only 4 stars. I got this product discounted and would not pay the original price for it with my dog still able to get to the front seat.

The only downside it the seatbelt buckles area is Velcro and makes it hard for the younger kids to find the buckle.Overall well made and does great

Our dogs are always harnessed in when in the car but one of them hates car rides and tends to try and get in the front seat and gets stuck on the ground so this has helped with that. 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect solution for traveling with dogs! Our Lab has now made several LONG trips using this liner as well as daily jaunts around town. She is a runner and very active 8 yr. old. It is so nice to be able to load her clean, wet or dirty. Give her a drink inside the car. If it spills you can wipe it up with a towel. It is very easy to use a wisk broom to sweep out the hair. I love my dog but I don't like friends having to sit in hair. I like that I can zip up one end and use the other for loading or zip up both ends to contain her. We don't have to worry about the doors with her but it would work great if your dog like to stand with front paws on the outside arm rests to protect your doors. On our last trip we unloaded the dog and loaded up family to head to the restaurant. Undo four snap links and it folds up in about 2 minutes. Only issue we had is our second row is bucket seats. We got a large pillow to put between the seats to make a platform and we are good to go. So glad someone thought through such a great design. One person found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars It's not a heavy weight dog seat cover but it does look somewhat promising for water resistance I've owned quite a few dog seat covers - the hammock style is my favorite - over the years. This one is somewhat lighter than I expected but fits nicely and was very easy to install. I can see where my dog likely won't be able to easily deposit 12 oz of lake water into my backseat after a splishy splash visit to the dog park. The backing of the seat cover is a vinyl type material that I believe should resist soak through quite nicely. The surface fabric, really just nylon weave, is possibly cleanable. but you'll want to wipe it down frequently rather than letting it get too dirty. The instructions for this say you can machine launder it, but I'm guessing it won't survive the washing machine too many times even on delicate setting. The pockets on this cover are in different positions than all my other covers, being on the side that covers the back seat back rather than on the back of the front seats where I can easily grab things from them. It's a bit of a reach from the front seat and not always so easy to get my dog to move over so I can open the pockets and get poo bags, or whatever. Other than the odd inconvenience, so far so good though with the cover.

This one is a lot more padded and sturdier. The straps haven't slipped down like the other one did. It is entirely padded and has a great pocket for her leash. She is 40 pounds so this gives her room to move while keeping her contained. Easy to install and you can modify to accommodate a backseat passenger. 5.0 out of 5 stars Long lasting I've had this for a couple of years now and it works great, the size is good and the material is well made plus its easy to clean. It's loved through being peed on, put in the washing machine, multiple large dogs digging/chewing at it and gator rolling and wrestling on it so far the only damage its taken is a small hole on the bottom side of the door flaps from a determined puppy managing to stick their head over the edge to get to the plasticy outer layer and a broken zipper on the side door flaps after a couple years of abuse. The only negative is how long it takes to dry after being washed but that's to be expected with something of this size and material. 9 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice seat cover I have an older Kia Soul. This is just a tad large for it, but it works just fine. My dog is much happier with the hammock style than just a seat cover. She can't fall off the seat. There is slit for seat belt access. It has velco to close it and that keeps dirt and debris from getting under the cover. The ends zip together to to keep the door panels covered and the to keep debris from getting between the seat and the door. There are also straps included to keep those ends upright. It doesn't shift or slide when my dog jumps in or out and she is 60 lbs. It wipes off easily and so far no muddy wet leaks. An unexpected plus is that the cover also acts like cargo cover. Anything on the floor in the back is out of site.What I don't like is the placement of the pocket. There is nice sized pocket sewn onto the cover. It would be a good place to store a lead or travel water bowl. The problem is they put it on cover that is against the back of the backseat and on the passenger side. It is rather useless unless you are using the passenger side to get your dog in and out of the car.Overall, this cover is very nice and worth the money. 2 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars NOT FOR ACTIVE PUP I bought this for my 6 month old puppy. She is extremely active. It is so easy to install, clean and would do a good job with a calmer, dog. My pup some how got under it while I was driving. So for her at this time I would not use it for her. Maybe as she gets older and better behaved. I do plan on keeping it for later to see if I can use it again. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is not good for her. 3.0 out of 5 stars Size is okay, but incomplete if you have non-adjustable headrests The item is okay. It's not as thick, or padded as I expected. I wanted something very thick and extremely durable to protect my leather seats from my near 100lb GSD and her toenails. I'll have to put a blanket under this to ensure that the seats don't get scratched or punctured. I don't know that the fabric is thick enough or durable enough to withstand her nails when she gets nervous and tries to 'hold on' when the car is moving. I'm sure it would be plenty for a small to medium sized dog though.My biggest complaint is this has no way to attach to a seat with integrated (non adjustable) headrests. The straps for the front seats and back seats assume you have adjustable headrests on both. Now I'm left searching for some sort of short bungee strap to attach to the LATCH anchors in the rear desk that can then hold the headrest strap up and over the integrated headrests. Seems like a poorly thought out design, and from reading the other reviews and questions, it's clear that I'm not the only one who has run into this issue. The maker should have included an adjustable nylon loop with a LATCH hook at one end so we could connect the headrest loop to it in cars with non-adjustable headrests.

So we got this thing, which not only keeps him relatively contained within the back seat, but also prevents the viral spread of his fur to the entirety of the vehicle. I would be using it constantly if I hadn't forgotten it at my friends house during my bachelor's party and keep forgetting about it. I need to go grab it next time I'm there.

I like that it has a little bar thing to secure it between the seats. Also it comes with a clip to be able to seat belt your dog in, I threw mine away because I didn't know what they were at first and I have such regrets about not belting my dog in. Not sure if I’m confused, but it seems like the pocket is on the taller side that goes against the backseat, instead of the shorter side that goes behind the front seats.In other words, if you sat in the back seat the pocket would hit you in the back, it should be in front of you - behind the front seats.I also couldn’t find where the seatbelt goes through the cover, but it’s dark outside so I’ll check again for it. I personally don’t need that functionality, my dog bends the seat belt clips anyway, we use one that goes around the head rest and it works perfectly with this cover.Also, I ordered the black and orange cover without realizing they are super bright orange - it looked more brown to me in the photo, so if it’s worth it to you to spend the extra few dollars to not have bright orange, you prob will want to do that. I would have gotten solid black or something had I realized, but it’s not bad enough for me to return and go through that whole process.This cover is much better quality than my other cover, it also fits much better and covers the entire back seat and sides. 2 people found this helpful

(Never know on a trip what might happen.)Pretty sure I could wash on a gentle cycle in a washing machine, have an older one from a different manufacture, but made the same that washes up great. And living in a dry state like ID, it dried in minutes outside in the summer on a line.Perfect size for a mid-size truck like my Nissan Frontier Pro-4X.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love It This is the second time buying this product, last time was in 2020. It has held up well overall. The underneath backing is starting to flake off a bit. The only real complaint I have is that 2 of the buckle fasteners broke last year and I replaced them. About 6 months later the other 2 broke. I have a well behaved lab who doesn't jump around in the back seat of my truck. Hopefully the buckles will last longer this time. That being said the product is awesome and has served it purpose.

The straps to position the cover are adjustable, and it can be used as a hammock or just a flat cover. This cover seems to be waterproof, although I actually have not tested it other than giving my dogs a quick drink out of a water bowl. The cover is a little grippy on the back, so with that and the plastic cylinders you push into the crease of the seat, it stays in place well. Time will tell regarding durability. 4.0 out of 5 stars Not quite full size truck width but reasonably nice This is a reasonably nice dog hammock, and seems to be good quality after about a month of use. The material is thick, the quilting is nice and the dog likes it. It has a no-slip bottom, which I find is excellent. If you are putting this into a full size pickup (F150/250/350 for example) it is not quite the width of the seat, which will cause some sagging even with the hand-hold straps engaged. This does not make it a bad hammock, but it is something to be aware of, as it will result in the doors not really having any scratch protection.

I’ve been using a fitted sheet on my backseat because I didn’t want dog hair everywhere. Sometimes it’s like the dog hair gets embedded into the seat and it’s hard to remove. The only thing is the strap that holds up the sides are useless in my truck because there's no handle above the door to hook it on to. Definitely waterproof as my dog has thrown up on this and it wipes up so easily with no mess or stain left.

It is saving my doors where he will jump up to the window. Saving my leather seats. It took me literally minutes to set this up. I have already taken it out once and washed it. I am not sure what the recommendations are but I machine washed on gentle and line dried. It turned out great. I would recommend and would buy this product again.

My dogs drool a lot in the car and this has been a game changer! Easy to install, fits in my Honda CRV perfectly, easy to unhook and install/uninstall and clean. The dogs are very comfortable and my German shepherd uses part of it to rest her head so she can still be near us. Overall very happy with this product and looking to buy another one so I can alternate between them for cleaning.
