The variety of classic games preloaded onto the console is impressive, offering hours of entertainment. The screen quality is decent, and the controls are responsive.

2.0 out of 5 stars Another shovelware machine I'm always hoping for a diamond in the rough with these things, but this is just another handheld full of bootleg, borderline-unplayable ROM hacks. Sure, you can play a few basic NES games like Super Mario 3, but a vast majority of these are like 'Eggs Week' or 'Box Plan'. I feel like anyone who's actually tried to play most of these games and not just squirt out a review would realize how poor they are; though the few actual NES games run pretty clean - even if some graphics are incomplete. Most are not enjoyable and kids will get very frustrated or bored.It feels fine, everything is in the right place ,even if two of the buttons are not useful in any game on here. The volume dial is very recessed into the machine to tuning it is a bit of a pain. You have to choose between English and Chinese every time you reset the machine, and you'll have to reset it every time you want to play a new game. Scrolling through 500 repeating and weirdly-named games is a pain. And yes, this is the exact same system as the one with the weird mouse on the title screen., which is like 95% of these.Please don't be get this as a cool gift for a retro game fan; there are better options that cost twice as much, but are very much worth the cash.
