Imaginative play is so good for little ones, and we like this tea set comes in colors besides pink. Our son loves it, and often pretends to eat and feed us with the spoons. He loves that these dishes are just for him, and we find them in the oddest places. He loves carrying them around. These toys get a lot of use and are still holding strong.

They are just the right size for him to hold and bang together, chew on, dump,water out of, and hide treasures in his teapot.I love that these will last for years and he will change the way he uses them over time. My only main issues for making it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the sugar bowl has two small holes in the bottom and the lid to the sugar bowl is a little difficult/small & slippery to lift using the handle.

Perfect little plastic set. Wish the sugar bowl didn't have holes in the bottom so you could actually put something in it but overall it's cute and he can't break it (which it why we went with plastic!)

One star subtracted for this ridiculous design decision), and wants to have real tea in it every day. Then he wants to practice pouring water for hours on end. I love that I can pop it into the dishwasher. Fantastic purchase. Will buy again as a gift. If you know me and have a small child, expect to get this!

5.0 out of 5 stars Tea for two! My 3-year old LOVES this tea set. I chose it because it's gender neutral and is large enough for him to actually drink from. He wants to drink from the creamer or tea pot almost exclusively. Sometimes this causes problems because he drinks a bit too much water... :-) The only criticism is that the little sugar dish has 2 holes in the base, so nothing liquid could be placed inside of it. I'm not quire sure what the purpose of those holes is as none of the other pieces have holes. Regardless, this tea set is fantastic.

It’s study though the teapot lid does fall off when in a certain position. When we make pretend, it’s a lovely set for four. Our daughter loves it and I’m grateful that the products are cleaner and healthier than other options.

As a tea drinking parent, my little boys wanted to be in on all the delicious milk-honey-chai action, but I was not about to trust my 6 and 3-year-olds​ with my very breakable tea pots and cups. Not only is the color awesomely gender neutral, they feel very solid and we all enjoy drinking out of them during our daily tea parties. My boys are pretty rough on these and they are still looking as good as when we got them months ago. Not pink or purple, because it's for my son and he specifically asked for a "not girly tea set"2. Can really hold water3. They are sturdy and every child who has received them has loved them.They are the perfect size for little hands. Easily holds a small amount of liquid for play. Easy to wash and EXTRA durable. My daughter has owned them for 4 years and they look just as great as when we got them. Boys like to play house too. Gasp! What if we let our sons play like an equal partner, not placing gender roles on them so they can grow up and become involved fathers. It would be better if it matched the teapot or sugar bowl. Otherwise, this set has been a huge success with my little grandson! Grammy gets a lot of cups of tea!🤣

I am a nanny and keep a number of toys at my home for times when we just gotta change our environment and I can tell you the only toys I have come to absolutely love are the Green Toys and Learning Resource brands. My current 4 (all boys, 2 and under) love sitting down and playing tea/coffee and having they’re little conversations, they mimic the old men at our local coffee shop!!! Highly recommend!

4.0 out of 5 stars 4.5*: Would be 5*, but the spoons must’ve fallen out during handling We love all of the Green Toys products and have bought ~50 for our kids and for gifts over the past few years.We were excited to give our 2yo daughter the tea and cupcake sets for Hanukkah this year! When we helped her unbox the sets she was in Heaven!However the tea set was missing the 4 teaspoons (which we only noticed looking a the contents list on the box). Maybe they fell out during handling prior to shipping?? We purchased this in August and will reach out to see if there is any way the company can send us a spoon set.Meanwhile our girl is loving playing with it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Adorable set, good quality, saucers a little small I like these a lot. They are very good quality, and my children really enjoy having tea parties with them. The lid of the tea pot also stays on fairly well under normal use. I do think it would fall off if there was a lot of liquid in it and the kids turned it over (to be expected). The cups are a fun size and the kids like holding them and taking tiny sips of milk out of them. The spoons are tiny, and the kids like trying to use them for normal food, but they are really too small for anything expect maybe yogurt. The saucers are tiny too, and I do wish these were a little bigger. They really aren't very good for holding food at our tea parties, Also, the design of the saucer is pretty flat with the small indented circle to hold the tiny tea cup, so they aren't shaped well for holding food in addition to being tiny. My ONLY complaint is that the lid doesn't fit just a little bit tighter. It falls off easily. The family sat down for a charming tea service for the stuffed animal party moments after unboxing it. This is such a great teaching tool for social graces, i.e., pleases and thank yous, as well as the idea of catering to guest preferences (i.e., no sugar). We offer her milk/cream and sugar in her tea and cheers. The parts are all perfect for tiny hands but will grow with her as she gets older. 5.0 out of 5 stars I adore this little tea set! We have quite a few Green Toys trucks and really like the quality, so when I saw the tea set I was intrigued. We don't actually use it for tea...we're more of a cocoa and cider type of family, but my kids still love using it. We've put it in the dishwasher (top rack) multiple times with no issues. I use my Keurig and put it directly into the tea pot and let it cool to a safe temp. My 4 year old can usually pour without spilling and my 2 year old does pretty well too. Yes, the lid can come off, but it hasn't really been an issue for either of them. Spills are a part of life, I don't feel my kids make any more mess using this tea set than they do at a typical meal.I know some people complain about the holes in the sugar bowl. I think these holes are for safety reasons...the same reason there are little holes in plastic Easter eggs nowadays (so kids don't suffocate themselves when putting it over their mouth and nose). Here's some simple solutions...they could just use their imaginations and not even have any sugar in the bowl at all. Or you could use sugar cubes (or marshmallows for the cocoa) instead. Still really want to use granulated sugar and know for sure your kid wouldn't put the sugar bowl over their face? My baby grandsons love to play tea party, and too many tea sets out there are overly feminine. I know, I know - that statement is just as bad as the fact it can be difficult to find "color neutral" toys, but come on here - how difficult is it to make more toys color neutral?!
