5.0 out of 5 stars For $500 some extra care should be maintained I'll be quick. The item itself works great, flawless, mint condition. Based on how the box was received - not gonna lie, I was pissed. For $500 you'd think there would be more care given to such an item to ensure the integrity of the housed item wasn't damaged. Overnight, same day, next day...I don't care what it is, a little more care Amazon.Anyway, back to the product. It was flawless, worked as it should, no issues..I've waiting a while for this. 5.0 out of 5 stars Arrived just fine, but I live in idaho so it was COLD I was a bit worried after i opened it up and started noticing heavy condensation all over it, but i think that was just because I was so excited and breathing hot air all over it's cold surface. So far it's totally fine and turned on and everything. Works great so far

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally got my hands on a ps5! The console's box showed up in an Amazon box so luckily it was hidden! Really nice controller and also came with digital code for the newest Spiderman game. If you have any issues with the controller update freezing after download just reboot the system and it'll immediately move on with set up. Everything else worked like a charm for me and I had fun with all the games and features. Storage space is running out super fast though, so I'm definitely considering a new SSD already One person found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Console The PlayStation 5 is a good next-gen console. The console and controller look nice and modern. The set up is easy and does not take that long. I purchased the model with a disc drive so I could play my collection of PS4 games in addition to PS5 games and the drive works as expected. The graphics are greatly improved and worthy of next-gen. Overall a good console and I would recommend the bundle with Spider-Man 2 as that is a great game.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's been awhile! I haven't been a gamer for 8 years, so I decided to get back into it a little bit with the PS5. This machine is absolutely beautiful and amazing! The ps5 controller is capable of some mind blowing things when interacting with games such as Astos playroom (my advice is to play that built-in fun lil game & it'll teach you the capabilities of the controller) and Spider-Man 2. As a non-gamer for so long, Spider-Man 2 is gearing up to be the best video game I've played since GTV5 years back. I don't get much free time to play but whenever I do, it's pure joy! 🎮👍🏾🔥 4 people found this helpful

Even the spiderman 2 game which I didnt expect to like is great.The graphics do glitch often but as this was a repackaged item I cannot tell if the PS5 is the issue or my TV or my reciever. Basically any peace of mind I though I was was getting from a new and unused PS5 vs the "as new" used one locally on marketplace with extra controller and headphones for $220 less, was taken from me. Coming from a PS4 the step up is very noticable especially loading speeds. So to sum up. It's a vast step up from the PS4 but be aware that you may not be recieving a brand new unit. So perhaps buying a used one for $100s less is a better option?

5.0 out of 5 stars Great starter level for the PS5 So here's what I did...I bought this PS5 for my kid for Xmas, knowing that it was the most basic model of the digital version of this console (only one controller, no games included, etc.).Then, I told him that all our digital PS4 games would transfer over (which they did) to the PS5 and that we could take our PS4, the controllers, all the disc games, etc. and sell them at GameStop that same weekend and with that money we could hook up the PS5 with games and accessories.It worked like a charm! We got nearly $400 for the PS4 stuff and were able to get the second controller, a controller charging dock, the Sony PS5 headphones, and a several games. Within one weekend, the PS5 went from the most basic package to the full experience.So yeah... highly recommend this version of the PS5 if you plan to get rid of a previous console and can use that to supply the rest of the accessories and games. 6 people found this helpful

I bought it because it was at a discounted price with the Spiderman 2 code in it. The unit came with great packaging and no damage. The set-up was easy for me given that I have almost 20 years of gaming experience. 5/5 would recommend Amazon to buy consoles and games now. I used to do it at Bestbuy but sometimes find it a hassle driving in store and it's pointless now knowing Amazon does it better for you. One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, slimer yet powerful. this is the one to get. was unable to fit the original PS5 on my desk, this one just hit the spot perfectly.Same power as the original but in a smaller package, also Sony threw in a few new design upgrades to make life easier. the power and eject buttons are in different places now, removable Bluray drive, and an upgraded controller. (better than the first version that was shipped with the original PS5) all in all feels like a more mature product.Amazon shipping was blazing fast and of the highest quality customer service.

The shipping box was undamaged, however the original packaging for the PlayStation itself was damaged, ripped in several areas and it looked like someone had opened the box and then returned the item. Since it was a gift I did clear tape the box in the riped areas, and it was fine enough to make it through the initial present opening. Everything was in the box, it just didn't look like it was in the original packaging location. The code for the digital copy of the game worked. 2 people found this helpful

I also have the PS5 OG first Gen. The slim hum a lil bit louder but you will only know if you have been using the OG. As an experienced gamer he was thrilled to receive the PlayStation which was an upgrade from his present system. Setting up wasn’t the easiest because it seemed that for every bit of information I had to input I would get sent a code to input before moving on. There just seemed that there were too many steps to take before I could start playing. Don’t know if it’s normal with other systems or not. Downloading the free game required setting up an account which was another laborious process. Finally after setup and download the games performed very well. The graphics are outstanding and everyone was happy. My last comment is that I am surprised at the size of the system, not very compact for today’s standard.

5.0 out of 5 stars My first console and super happy Was very happy with product, however if you plan to lay this down the "plastic feet" they include are not all that sturdy to me. Maybe they should have considered making metal or similar so they are stronger. I pushed mine over an inch and one leg broke the little part that inserts into the PS so maybe that is just a really weak spot but otherwise love my console.Now a recommendation might be to add couple more ports and to potentially make both the front ports identical. I discovered there was difference when had put it standing and plugged VR into upper usb C port and the console told me would not work in that port needed the 10g port which was the lower or one furthest to the left if looking at it. Guess was dumb to assume all usb ports are equal but does limit ya for sure.

Except wanting a disc version instead of a digital version of the Spiderman game, but that is just my own preference. No dings no dents. It either showed up on time or early! I've been loving playing it on my off days or down times. Sony and PlayStation surpassed my expectations with this. Don't wait to get this and add in a headset because it will definitely change your gaming experience. Couldn't be any happier. Just mad I waited so long to get one. Oh PlayStation included a little plastic kickstand for your system so be patient in putting it in the right spot lol

It comes with the console, all the cables you need, a controller, and a digital copy of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 to play with. The console is backward compatible with all PS4 games, so if you don't own many PS5 games, don't worry, you can play your old games as well.The feel of the console feels premium, and the included stand to prop it vertically was easy to insert into the proper slots. I wish it came with a vertical stand as well, but that's just a minor nitpick. If you want to stand it up vertically, you'd need to buy a separate stand for that.The PS5 Slim is also remarkably smaller than the PS4 Pro that I own and is much quieter in comparison besides the startup sound of the disk drive when you first boot it up with a disc in either from standby mode or from off.The controller is bigger ergonomically than the original PS4 controller but doesn't feel bad. The controller is shaped in a way that even those with smaller hands can feel comfortable holding. The adaptive triggers take some getting used to, but feel fine for the most part.Overall, I highly recommend the PS5 Slim. 3 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Long time coming, but I've finally got one and it's all I hoped for By pure accident, this arrived 8 years to the day after I bought my PS4.8 years is a pretty good run for a console, but I figured it was time to upgrade, and I've been quite pleased with the results.Up front, the bad: the slim has a bit more storage than the "fat" PS5 but I worry that I'll quickly run out of space. And that's it. That's the extent of my cons list.The good: outrageously quicker load times. I've been playing a lot of Fallout 76. On my PS4, it would routinely take upwards of 45 seconds to "fast" travel. I got in the habit of grabbing the phone and scrolling social media while it loaded. On the PS5, it's more like 10 seconds, tops. Usually much less.I've also been playing the new(ish) God of War and load times are almost immediate. It's uncanny.I've got an older TV (probably 2012) and even still, the graphics are a significant step forward.Ultimately, it's everything I loved about my PS4, except better. There's not a single area where I feel like they took a step back except in storage...I had a 1 TB Black Ops 3 edition and would have liked the PS5 to beat that without resorting to aftermarket help.Otherwise, the controller feels better in my hands and has some cool bells and whistles (integrated mic, multi-function giant button, etc.), the load times are vastly improved with the SSD, and the games look better and run better. 74 people found this helpful

You would think for 500 dollars they would put more care into making sure the council didn’t break or become damaged in the process is shipping. Shipped very quickly, was taken care of during shipping, and was protected with paper padding within the shipping box. Game is the new slim version with the removable disc drive, and it came with all needed accessories, including the wall cable, usb cable, hdmi cord, controller, game voucher, and two attachable prop-up plastic stands. It worked perfectly as soon as we plugged it in, and the console is genuine Playstation. The game voucher utilized a scratch-off game code, and it came on a slip of paper at the bottom of the console's box so be careful not to throw it away! The game,Spider man 2, however is not a disc but a voucher with a code to download the game from the online Playstation store. Comes with one control pad and a basic HDMI cord. I bought an HDMI 2.1 cord here off Amazon because I have a newer TV that can handle 8k and all that other fancy stuff. The 2.1 cords are rated to handle 4, 8, and 10k. Not sure if it makes a difference vs a standard hdmi cord but the games look incredible. If you had a PS4, then you will be super familiar with the PS5 menu. 6 people found this helpful
