4.0 out of 5 stars Had since 7-16-22 now it is 1-19-24 I love this it has made things much easier and a lot less 4 am wake up calls from our cats and no more double feedings when my cats trick me or my husband into feeding them again. My few complaints on this is the little window in the front to show levels can be rather hard to see to the point we don't use it and just open the top to see how full they are. the second complain I have is the time you set it for has a bad habit of delaying to the point the clock will read 6 pm but the clock on the cat feeders over time will read like 8 pm we have reset the times multiple times and tried to sync them together better but always seem to be different times even set at the same exact time and therefore doesn't follow the time very well and throws our cats off

4.0 out of 5 stars Very capable cat feeder I purchased this PETLIBO cat feeder to replace one from a different manufacturer. The old one failed to feed when the plastic fins on the plastic rotor all broke off. I attempted to order a replacement rotor, the only part that I could find listed for that model feeder anywhere on the internet. The manufacturer was offshore and provided no contact information whatsoever. The replacement rotor didn’t fit my machine so I returned it and started my search for a different / better machine. That original feeder served me pretty well for about 2 years of continuous outdoor service in a protected location shielded from direct rain and snow. The old one had a capacity of 7 litters, but the PETLIBO is only 5 or 5-1/2 litters. As a result of this difference, I have to refill it every 5 days instead of every 7 for the old one. I wished that it held more, but that wasn’t a deal breaker for me.PETLIBO - PLEASE CONSIDER OFFERING A TALLER, HIGHER CAPACITY FOOD RESERVOIR OPTION TO FIT THIS MACHINE.My old one wasn’t WiFi enabled but the PETLIBO is. The app loaded easily on my iPhone and it works surprisingly well. I didn’t think that I’d use that feature all that much, but as it turns out after a few months in use, I do.The PETLIBO is intended for indoor use only but I’m feeding a large colony of feral cats so indoors wasn’t an option. The feeder sits exactly where my original one did, under a picnic table with an impervious top to protect it against the rain we get here in suburban Baltimore. I have it sitting on a perforated rubber pad placed on the wooden deck below the table. The rubber pad keeps it slightly elevated so that any water on the deck won’t be able to infiltrate the bottom of the feeder.I never used the AC power cord on my original feeder, opting to run that one off the 4 batteries installed as a backup power source. Without the WiFi capability, a set of batteries in that feeder surprisingly lasted between 6 and 7 months. I initially set up this PETLIBO without plugging it in to AC power as well, but WiFi use sucked down a new set of batteries over a week’s time. AC power is really needed for this bad boy, so I plugged it in.Raccoons? Yep. We got ‘em. I had inserted the old feeder into a wire mesh cage and then bungeed the assembly to the legs of my picnic table so they couldn’t tip it over, or get to the top to break into the goodies inside it. That worked perfectly.I’m using that same wire cage and bungee anchor system with the PETLIBO, but I took the top off of the wire cage so I could easily reach in and unscrew (1/4 turn) the top on the feeder to refill it. I liked this arrangement better, since I had to unbungee the old feeder/cage assembly and remove it from under the table in order for me to open the feeder for refilling. Unfortunately the damned raccoons were smart enough to quickly figure out how to unscrew the top of the PETLIBO and rob me blind! Now I put the top back on the wire cage to stop that from happening any longer. It takes me another minute to remove that wire cage top so that I can unscrew the top of the feeder, but again, I can live with that. The PETLIBO passes a larger size kibble than anything else I could find. For 2 years i had been slightly exceeding the largest kibble size permitted by the other manufacturer, I believe that was the primary reason why the plastic rotor fins broke off. The Purina Kit & Kaboodle feed that our colony really prefers didn’t feed well in that machine but the PETLIBO handles it perfectly. It’s very easy to program feeding schedules from the app. Is VERY flexible and can handle any schedule that I would ever need. It’s also very easy to change a feeding time or portion size and then change it back again tomorrow. It has a forced manual feed function where you select the portion size and then push “Feed”. Done. Instant gratification. The feeder sends “blocked outlet” messages when the feed doesn’t discharge into the 2 bowls completely. One reviewer complained about all these error messages and I would have to agree that they can be a pain. Better to know than not to know in my opinion. At our house, the raccoons usually take care of any evening plugging issues. You have the option of recording a verbal message to play when feeding and even how many times you want that message to play. The old feeder REQUIRED you to enter a voice message, even if you spoke not a word. Some people that failed to do this thought their feeder was faulty and sent them back. No such problem with the PETLIBO. 26 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well overall, but the low food warning is useless Works well and easy to schedule and set up several feedings and the weird little moveable arm to help control the food split between bowls works surprisingly well. But… the low food warning is useless. Low food warning means no food. This is absolutely useless. Low food should go off when it’s about 15-20% left not… the next feed won’t work. You have to be on top of it or you’ll get to “low” food and find out the last two feeds never went off even though it’ll also say “feed successful” even though nothing came out… what? 6 people found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars Just get two single bowl feeders This is easy to set up and pairs seamlessly with a home network. The app has updated twice in the month I've had the product, which seems excessive. It's very hard to get it to dispense equal amounts to each bowl. And when you do finally get it working, its not forever, just the next few times. It accumulates crumbs all around the bowl holders and needs to be cleaned often. But the most annoying thing is that the "dispenser is clogged" sensor can't tell the difference between a curious kitten sticking their paw up inside and a food pellet. And once you get three or four of this notification in a row, it quits telling you when it has successfully dispensed food. Petlibro's response was to tell me to exchange it for another of the same. This isn't a failure, it's a feature. No matter how many I might try, this is just how they work.TL;DR: Get two single bowl dispensers if you need it to dispense an equal amount to each bowl. And skip this one if your cat sticks his paws up inside it.Edit: and *now* every time it dispenses food it tells me it's blocked. It is not. It dispenses the food just fine. It seems to be the food passing through it that triggers the message. My single bowl feeder never does this.Edit 2: The company has made things right by sending me a single bowl attachment to swap out for the double bowl, and a second single feed unit. So now I have two single feeders instead of one double feeder. And the problems have vanished. I've had it scheduled to go off twice a day for a few days now, and it always dispenses right on time with no errors so far. I think the divider was somehow causing the food to dispense slow enough that it triggered the "blocked" error. Hopefully this stays fixed now. I definitely recommend the single bowl style and NOT the double bowl style. 9 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well, everyone is happier Easy to set up. Our two cats were out of control begging for food, because someone else in the house would feed them whenever they asked. They were eating way too much, yelling at us all day and night for food, and it became quite unpleasant. I decided to try this automatic feeder because it can portion out a very small amount more frequently. This suited our situation well. The cats stopped yelling at us all the time because we are no longer part of the food equation. They had no problem whatsoever with the transition and figured it out immediately. It wasn’t nearly as easy for the person who was feeding them all the time… I love this thing and would get it again in a heartbeat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wish I had bought it sooner I wish I had purchased this autofeeder sooner. Great for when we are out of town and convenient when we are home. I like the wi-fi feature and app where I can check to confirm the cats were fed. The only thing is getting it to dispense the food evenly across the two bowls. Pushing the divider all the way to the right, like the instructions state, does not make the portions equal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Clean and expedient The machine works perfectly. Beautiful in white. Takes a little time to program, but is not hard. This model doesn't come with Wifi for mobile app. From what I read of the other model it didn't seem to me it offered the functionality to set the mealtimes from an app, so I did not care for that. This model's instructions don't say what it considers to be a portion size. I imagine it depends on the kibble size you're using, but it could give an approximation for small or bigger size because, after all, it's marketed for cats and there isn't much difference in kibble size as for dogs. So, I waited for it to dispense a portion to see if it was enough or how many portions to program for one meal or at a set time. For my two cats I programmed two portions for their early morning first meal of the day and for late afternoon because one portion has very few kibbles. I used to measure with a cup their meals, so I expected some kind of reference. After setting the meals and watching what my cats usually eat and expect, I now see that I have to program again to add another portion for one of the meals, but I was lazy at first and just gave them a manual feed until I have the time to do the programming again.I recorded my voice to call on the cats in a normal speaking level, which they don't seem to understand if they are in the same living room, but it gets their attention. They don't hear it from farther out, but I don't want to bother the next-door apartment with a louder call. It's the sound of the kibbles dropping to the metal dish that make them go to it, naturally. The best thing is that I don't have to get up at 5 a.m. to feed them and don't have to be harassed by them until I did. They are the sweetest most well-behaved cats, but turn into hooligans if you don't feed them at 5 a.m. 26 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Info to have if considering this. Pros & Cons This is a great feeder, but there are a few things I've come across that I want to share.FOOD: TYPE: Doesn't work well with meow mix or special shaped/larger cat food. Works best with food like science diet, costco brand - smaller, round bits PORTION: Not consistent. One serving sometimes only throws out a few bits, and barely anything if using Meow Mix (hence comment above). This isn't necessarily a deal breaker because you can simply program it to dispense more. "One Serving" for my cat is actually 3 with this feeder. BLOCKAGE: No Issues with blockage.POWER: It plugs in and takes D batteries for a backup power supply. Our power has gone out several times and my settings are saved even without batteries.CAPACITY: It holds A LOT of food. One fill lasts me a couple of weeks with 2 cats.EASE-OF-USE: Extremely easy to program. You can also quickly unlock it by holding down the lock icon, and quickly change any or bypass the schedule and feed now.FINAL THOUGHTS: I Love this, but I recently bought the wifi model, which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! The extra money it costs is nothing compared to the additional features and peace of mind it offers. For one, you can control it through the App 100%. It notifies you when the food is low, or if there's a blockage or any issue at all. If you're on vacation, you can monitor it from wherever to make sure it's working and that your cat is getting fed. I've found the App to be extremely accurate. I use it to feed a stray cat outside since she runs away if I come near. With this, I can tap a button on my phone when I see her and the food automatically dispenses. I had it sitting outside in cold below-zero temperatures and it worked great. Every night a pack of raccoons try to break into it, but they haven't succeeded yet. The only thing they're able to do to it is to detach the front tray, which easily slips back on. Raccoons can usually tear anything up if there's food inside, but they haven't been able to do any damage to this, which says a lot!!! Granted, I'm talking about the wifi model, but it's made the same as this one.You will not be disappointed with this brand! If you can afford it, upgrade to the one with wifi and app. It's worth it!!! 3 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I wanted This feeder is exactly what I was looking for when I was looking to buy an auto feeder. It evenly dispenses food, it’s well constructed, it has an app for feeding, tracking, etc. Also one thing I really like about this feeder is how much food can be stored in it. It makes feeding time really simple. It’s also well made and fairly well thought out. For example the food hopper on top has a slot in the lid for desiccant packets to keep the food dry and fresh. The bowls are removable for cleaning. And there is an adjustable tab at the dispenser that allows you to adjust how much food goes into each bowl. We use 50/50 but you could do like 60/40 if you have a cat on a diet or something. I’d say for the price considering all the features it has, and how easy it is to use, it’s well worth it, especially if you have multiple cats. (There is also a single cat feeder made by PETLIBRO) 2 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than I was expecting I have used this product now for almost 2 months. In the beginning, I was paranoid that my babies would not be fed appropriately or that they would not know the food was in the bowl. It has fed flawlessly. Setup was much easier than I expected with the only issue being that you have to go all the way through it if you miss something. It is not that big of a deal though and once you set it, it is fairly easy to change it. My only issue with portion control is I feel like 3 portions is a bit too much and 2 portions is not quite enough. My solution is to do my morning feeding with 3 portions and my night feeding with 2 portions. This seems to weigh it out effectively. I like that you can tell if it is on battery power or electricity and you can tell how much battery is left with just a glance. The splitter is great. You do need to follow the instructions to tilt it just a little to one side to get equal distributions but it is just a tiny tilt. So far, my cats have not broken into it nor have they figured out how to make it auto dispense. The lid is very snug and even if they knocked it over, I don't think it would spill. The time delay on the settings button is good because the cats do not know how to hold the button. I have no issues with the cats not hearing it as it makes a decent amount of noise falling into the metal bowls. The cats anticipate it's food time and if they don't happen to be waiting on the food to fall they hear it and go flying to the feeder before I even hear it hit the bowl. They can hear the faint whirring as it starts to spin to drop the food. Overall, I am extremely pleased and feel a lot more comfortable about knowing they will get to eat (at least their dry food) even if I am late getting home or if I would need to be away overnight. It works well with Hills Rx CD food. One side note.... they were scared of it at first but within a week, they were fine. Give your pet a little time to acclimate before you give up. My boys are "fraidy cats" for sure but they adjusted fine. 38 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Good device, 2 bowl splitter is just OK Well I had it narrowed down to this model and the comparable one by PETKIT. I went with the PetLibro because they have less network and app issues reported and I like the set up with 2 bowls. App and all that is fine, par for the course these days I guess. It’s a basic user interface, not as elegant as PETKIT but it was fine to install and get connected. The splitter for 2 bowls isn’t good. It only somewhat works, I fiddle with it but it’s just never going to be even split. My cats don’t care they will share, they’re brother and sister. The portion is 10 g. End of story. So, if you can feed your cats in 10 g increments and they are cool with sharing this is a good option. Construction quality is good. The cats can’t get into the kibble hopper. Time zones in the app are accurate for USA. My cats like the voice recording of my dinner call. So yes I’d recommend this over all. 3 people found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent feeder, wrong description. EDIT: PETLIBRO has reached out to me and said that they have forwarded my concerns to their engineers. They also said that Alexa integration is being worked on. I would still like to see some type of integration with Home Assistant though. Customer service is definitely on top of their game. +1 StarORIGINAL:I got this to hopefully get 2 of our 3 cats to stop waking us up at 6 in the morning. They are still getting used to the feeder. The good:The feeder was easy to connect and set up once I figured which app to use. The few times it has been ran has been successful. It seems to have clogged once but it was able to unclog itself and keep going. Overall, it seems to be a good product and would recommend it if you are looking for a WiFi connected feeder to receive notifications if there is a clog or the food reservoir is getting low.The Bad:- The app used depends on the model number. It is in the description, but I had to search for a bit to find out that I have V2 of the feeder and need to use the "PETLIBRO" app and not the "PETLIBRO LITE" app. It is in the extended description on how to find what version you have received. -1 star.- I really wish there was smart home integration. I would like to be able to see the status of and control the feeder in HA. There seems to be a hack around adding it, but I seem to have gotten a version that the workaround does not work. The ugly:- The description is wrong. This is NOT a 5Ghz capable WiFi device. It is ONLY a 2.4Ghz capable device. To me, this is false advertising. -2 stars 3 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars one edit for an almost perfect feeder It has been a savings for us to have the cats fed when we are not at home. the only way to improve this is to have a divider between the two bowls. As you can see in the picture, we glued a piece of cardboard to the feeder to keep the cats separated when they eat. Otherwise, we are very happy with the self-feeder

4.0 out of 5 stars 4/5 This works how it needs to, that’s the most important part. As you can seen from the photo my greedy ass cat someone knows the times the feeder goes off. I say somewhat cause he’ll get in line for his rations an hour early like I’m gonna take it from him or something. It’s cute and all until I realized he kinda understands how to make the feeder go off automatically. He knows if he stuffs his lil paw up there sometimes the food that didn’t slide all the way down will fall out. But he also watched me set it up and do the test runs when I refill the food. He knows to touch the buttons that glow to make food come out. He knows his paws are soft enough to operate it. I can’t even be upset cause he’s smart as hell lol. In short, 4/5 stars because I wish they were hard buttons so my male cat wouldn’t steal food when I’m not home or not paying attention. 36 people found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars Could be better So it works, but the instructions are terrible at telling you how to program it. I had to watch the video to learn how to go about it. When it distributes food, it's not distributing it evenly. If you're facing the bowl the way the animals eat, the right side gets more food even if the divider tab is straight, so you have to make the pathway to the right side smaller if you want to feed your pets evenly. Other than that it works well enough, but you have to keep an eye on it, which isn't ideal.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but over priced Decent product, but overpriced for the functionality. Dual dispenser is just one slot with a single plastic snap-on divider that doesn’t distribute the portions evenly. Right side always gets more food than the left side.Pros: holds a lot of kibble and easy to program for multiple times a day if needed. If you unplug it and plug it back in it doesn’t lose your settings.Cons: no wifi capability, dispenser isn’t equal for both bowls, sound quality for voice sucks.Overall it feeds my 2 cats when I need it to if pre-programmed. I’ll get a wifi capable dispenser next so I can change feedings when I’m away for extended times 11 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Nicely designed feeder with some caveats. Excellent customer service. Purchased this feeder to feed my cats during short trips. I really like the overall design of the feeder would recommend mainly if you are using it while home for at home convenience vs. relying on it while traveling at this time due to some issues I had while away ( although customer service is aware of the issue and says a fix is coming ). Although the feeder has an option to feed up to 50 portions it would get jammed when trying to feed anywhere from 10 and above. For reference this review is for the double bowled option for multiple pets, I would say that around 10-12 portions would be a meal for 2-3 small cats. A work around until the companies official fix is rolled out would be to feed in smaller batches, 4-8 portions with a few minutes between them. Even with the issues customer service for this feeder was excellent.Customer service for this product was excellent and they are actively working on fixing One person found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Took a minute The product works well once you understand how to set up. It took me a while to figure out what portion size to give my cats. Also hoped to be able to leave in garage while out of town. We have a cat door. But the raccoons found it and those little bandits,Figured out how to get lid off. I even attached it to the wall with it under a shelf so they couldn’t access the top. I have temporarily put it up.Wish y’all made a raccoon proof

4.0 out of 5 stars A slow start for the cats but successful now When I first got this, my cats were terrified of it. One of the cats would not even go near it! The other cat would go near it but not eat anything. And even that one still seemed a little intimidated. Then I got the idea to put some treats in each one of the bowls. Well, the cat who would go near it ate all the treats and the other cat went a little closer but still would not eat anything. After about 24 hours, they both started eating from it. The one still seems a little skeptical but I guess she was hungry enough! The other one still seems curious but that doesn’t bother her she’ll still eat!Several reasons for the four stores.1. I dislike all the buttons you have to push to set up the schedule. It does not take long and it is not difficult. But I would rather have a screen or an app that I can see the entire schedule at a glance. I know I could’ve paid more and purchased one like that. And I did originally but that one would not hook up to my network2. Portion size. I still get confused about how much each portion size is! I feel like the side of the food tank should have a chart of what each portion size equals. Something to easily reference.3. This is really not a big deal because my cats will eat out of the same bowl when they need to. I have the separator in so the food comes out of both sides fairly equally. but I do feel like there’s a lot more on the right side than the left side. Again, this is so insignificant I would not have even written it if I was not writing the rest of the review. If your cats tend to fight over food then this might be an issue for you in which case you probably went to separate automatic feeders.Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I do recommend this feeder to others because it was pretty easy to set up just annoying with all the buttons to set up the schedule. 13 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Tried Several Different 2 Cat Food Dispensers - This the Best - Nearly Resolved Regurgitation Issue My cats. One was the runt of the litter and from the time she was tiny, she's loved to eat - she will eat until the food is gone. The other -------- I tried so many things, elevated bowls with the raised things inside to force him to eat slower, feeding small amounts multiple times a day, etc. but we could not resolve his issue - he sometimes regurgitates - he will eat quickly and at times, regurgitate right after - it's the same with water if he drinks too quickly (or too close to a feeding). So, when travelling, I would put out large amounts of food and come home to regurgitation piles everywhere (of course, it's not good for him - especially the lack of nutrition). It isn't a medical condition - it's the result of him consuming food and/or drink too quickly and/or too close together (low bowls can also contribute to it). So, this was the fourth feeder I tried - I chose this one because it allows for up-to 10 feedings per-day, and the feeder can be controlled via app. In the beginning, I had the setting on the smallest portion possible - the smaller amount of food he has available him at a time, the less likely he is to regurgitate (there are various measurement options to choose from - I use grams) 10 g at 10 times per-day, equaling one-cup per day. My little eater started gaining weight and I discovered that she was eating any leftovers he had so I reduced the feedings to 8-times per day at 10 g per feeding, so they are still within the recommended feeding amount (3/4 to 1 c each per day). He still regurgitates from time-to-time but it's significantly less often and it's usually due to some variation in their behavior (like the female sleeping a great distance away when the feed comes down [thus, not hearing the feeder], allowing him to have access to two portions at once). 7 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Kitty approved! 🐱🐈‍⬛🤍 So the set up of the product was a little bit confusing at first, but once I went through it a couple of times I found it easy to use. I use the 5 portion for their main meal times at 6 am and 6 pm, then I use the 2 portion for their snack times. The 5 produces a normal sized portion; anything less it pops out very little food. But yeah, my 2 kitties love it!! 😊 4 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars My cats can tell time now I bought this feeder to solve my problem of having to find a cat sitter whenever I left my house for more than a day. It’s a lot to ask someone to come by the house multiple times a day to feed the kitties. This makes it so much easier. I’m able to schedule the feedings and control the portions to avoid over eating. Now I don’t need to rush home and feed the cats and the cat sitter doesn’t need to come by as frequently to feed them. And unexpected side affect is now my cats have learned to tell time and will sit by the feed an hour earlier to wait for the food to come out. One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Feeding made easier LOVE! I bought this automatic feeder for my boys about a year ago(barely reviewing the product). it has worked great! It hasn't stopped working or food get stuck. We do use small pebbles foods we don't use the large shaped ones so maybe that helps with not getting food stuck but overall its great! Its easy to use and I have an ease of mind when I leave for a few days that they are getting feed. recommend!

4.0 out of 5 stars Pavlov’s cats My cats love the feeder. They get dry food in the a.m., and wet in the eve. They go running when they hear it and it’s nice if we aren’t ready to head down to feed them. I didn’t realize that it records messages, and when I was giving them a snack, my cat bumped my hand and evidently I hit the record button. It retains the message and plays every time they eat: ‘Dammit Darrell. Stop that!’ 3 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic! My cats absolutely destroyed their first automatic feeder and were having a buffet. This one is sturdy and the twist top keeps them out of the food. Intuitive to set up and use. Great purchase

4.0 out of 5 stars Convenient, prefer version with camera My vet recommended an automatic feeder because my cats were a little chubby. So I got the more expensive version of this feeder that also had the camera, but it had software issues that I couldn’t work out with the support team and I got refunded.I did a lot of research trying to figure out which brand of an automatic feeder I should get for my 2 cats. I really didn’t want to get this brand again since I had those software issues. However, I ultimately ended up right back with this brand because of the cost and what I wanted in a feeder for my cats.I thought I bought the same one I had gotten the previous time, but I accidentally ordered the version that doesn’t have the camera.Pros:- It works.- It was very easy to connect.- You can set feeding schedules (I have it scheduled for twice a day).- You can adjust how many portions you give them. - You can add manual portions at any time (from the app or the feeder).- It has a red light letting you know when the food is low.- It has a slot for batteries to make sure your cats still get fed if there is a power outage.- The feeder touch buttons lock so your cats won’t be able to keep feeding themselves more.Cons:When I first got the original one, I had no idea what a “portion” was or how much to give them. For my 2 cats, I give them 3 portions at 6 am and 3 portions at 6 pm.With vs without camera:If you are going to go somewhere overnight, I prefer the camera one. Then I can go into the app and check around 6pm that it actually fed them. For the version without the camera, the app tells you it fed them but you can’t verify if there was a jam and they didn’t get all the food. You can also check that your cats are eating it (if one of mine weren’t, I would assume they weren’t feeling well) or if one of your cats is eating the other one’s food. So personally, I preferred the one with the camera. Plus, it’s an added security camera feature if you need it. 10 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it! I've had the Wifi feeder since Feb and it's been great! I used to leave full bowls of food out w 7 cats, but I wanted something to limit their food supply since one cat nearly died and has to be on Rx food for life.I needed to buy her a microchip feeder for herself, and figured this would help her to not eat the regular food.My only two wishes are that the app notifies you when the food is low and not entirely out, and that you could remove times that were put into the schedule. It took awhile to get the portions right. With 6 eating from it, 6 portions every 6 hours usually works great. Usually I leave the midnight feeding at 4 portions bc they don't seem to eat much that late. Definitely worth it though, and the current coupon deal is right; I feel like mine was closer to $120 but it's been awhile.Even when visitors want to unplug it, it still keeps its wifi info, even though I know I could just put batteries in it too.I'm honestly wondering if I missed a piece, because mine doesn't seem to have the splitter paddle. Food shapes get a little tricky too and cause it to get blocked sometimes if they haven't eaten enough. That's when I go into my schedule and just turn off a feeding or two. 5.0 out of 5 stars Very convenient and helps feed in different portions! This auto feeder was very easy to set up and looks sleekish. I love that it has two feeding bowls. App connectivity is amazing because I often give them very small portions at a time (they tend to eat super fast!). One drawback is the divider that splits the food evenly keeps getting pushed up by my cat when he eats, so have to readjust it often.

4.0 out of 5 stars Touch not so good but so helpful. Careful on the food size. This has been a life saver by all means. The touch buttons aren’t the greatest as sometimes to unlock I have to really make my finger spread around the area of the button I’m trying to press.Ive had this for a couple of months now and I’ve tried it with a handful of cat food. It can get clogged if you pour in the crumbs or the cat litter is too small.A clogged food dispenser will show an error on your screen which is helpful to me but not my cats.I just dig it out through the disposing vent with a finger and it fixes the issue.I believe my cat have done the same when they’re hungry. They’ll see some stuck in the vent and just try to dig it out if their bowl is empty so not the biggest problem but just something to be aware of!Overall the programable timing is awesome.Choosing the portion size takes a bit of trial and error to figure out but just play around with it when you first get it to get an understanding. 5 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Up-level feeding time! This is a must for pet owners! Whether you work, travel, lose track of time, or need to keep your pet on a diet, this feeder handles it all. I've used this feeder for months without any issues. It's easy to assemble and program, and the playback volume is loud enough to hear over regular household noises. On top of everything else, it gives your pet feeding area a very sleek and stylish look!Food stays fresh, and as long as you're mindful of the remaining fill, there aren't any issues with dispensing. It's easy to disassemble for cleaning; hand washing is sufficient. Over time, crumbs (think the contents of the bottom of a cereal bag) accumulate under the bowls inside the holder. If you clean each time you refill, there shouldn't be any issues. The locking mechanism is very secure; you can customize portions and distribution for each feeding.Definitely recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally an easy one! Hi, previously bought two other automatic feeders that I had to send back. One you programmed by pressing buttons on it, and the other was supposed to be like this one where it connects through Wi-Fi and an app. I could not figure out either one of them. This one not only is easy to program, but also connects easily to the Wi-Fi. I was surprised at how easy it was, and very happy with how it functions. One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Let’s me sleep later! My male cat begins to fear starvation around 5 am and believes it’s necessary to take out the competition for food, namely the darling little girl sleeping sweetly next to me. This starts a running, jumping, chasing ordeal that knocks things off my nightstand and obviously wakes me and hubby up and continues until I get up and fill the food bowl. BUT NO MORE! With this automatic feeder, I have set the schedule to 3X daily starting at YES 5 am! I now get up at a reasonable hour and have my own breakfast. The feeder provides a midday snack at the scheduled time and I also have another one set for bedtime to get Mr. Grumpy through the night. The unit has been great! It’s very easy to set up and schedule. Changing the schedule is simple; you just use the app. You can change the time and amount of kibble. I’ve gotten a couple of warnings that the spout is blocked but it was cleared up by the time I got there. Probably the kits did it for me. No big deal at all. The “meal call” alert is recordable and I use my own voice. Very cool feature. It’s not very loud but the cats hear it just fine.Overall, I love it. It holds about a week’s worth of kibble for my 2 cats who are supplemented by one small can of wet food daily.I have had zero negative issues with it. My only regret is not getting the camera version. 7 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Not evenly distributed I placed the splitter to the right as instructed, right bowl still gets more food than the left. It's not a deal breaker since our cats trade bowls, but if you plan to train cats to only eat from their designated bowl, be aware. 2 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Flexable feedings-Meets our needs! Wow are there a lot of automatic feeders on the market and it can be difficult to know what to look for and which one will meet your needs and budget! We picked this one because we could set multiple feedings and it worked on our internet. We've had it about a month now and we are still working on what feeding schedule will work best for our two cats. Setting the voice activation didn't work for us, but we really haven't tried too hard to figure it out and they come running when they hear the kibble so it's not important to us. Set up was fine otherwise and we love we can give them a manual feeding if we are running late getting home from work. Portion control seems to be the biggest hurdle for us with this feeder. Single portion is too little, and a double is too much and they aren't hungry for their wet, so being able to adjust between the two is really nice! This one had everything we needed and didn't break the budget. Looking forward to going on vacation and saving some pet sitter money as now we just need someone to scoop the litter box and give them their wet food once a day! We love this unit and would recommend it! 3 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect with one issue I have 3 cats. One of them eats way too fast and always threw her food up. I've tried absolutely everything to stop this, slow feeders, different food... This is what finally did it. I have this wet to dole out smaller portions though out the whole day. She hasn't vomited once.I am in love with this feeder and it really did fix our household issue. So here's why it's 4 stars instead of 5. Some people in their reviews complained that the food gets stuck on the shoot coming out of the feeder. This is absolutely my experience. I've had this for 2 months and can say without a doubt it does it at least once a day. It does give an error message on the screen and all you have to do is pull the food down into the bowls. If this is something you're unwilling to deal with look elsewhere but it's really not a big deal to us. 18 people found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars Clogs frequently This product overall is good, but we have an issue with it getting clogged. The food we use is under the size of what is recommended so that shouldn't be the issue. I think it's a design flaw - it needs to be on more of an incline so food can naturally fall into the bowls easier. We tried 4 feedings with smaller amounts and still have the issue happen a few times a week. Also, it's a little tricky getting the lever set to split the food into 2 bowls. As for positives, the product is super easy to set up and I've had no issues with the app. I like that the bowls are metal and the food storage is sealed tightly. With 2 cats we've had to refill the food once every 2 weeks, which is nice. The cats were initially startled by the mechanical whirring of the machine, but now love the noise and run to the feeder as food is being dispensed. 5.0 out of 5 stars What a great automatic pet feeder I bought the Smart Cat Automatic feeder first and it was a disaster. The setup was easy enough but the splitter that snaps into the unit is too a joke! My little Tortie love to eat and she would smack down the splitter and knocked it off the unit spilling all the food to the ground. We tried super glue and double-stick tape the unit but it would be a pain if we ever have to clean it.So we bought this unit and it was a breeze. The setup was pretty simple setting up the wifi and the best part is that the splitter on this unit is a piece that sticks firmly into the base of the unit and can adjust how much food each bowl gets. No more cat knocking down the splitter like the old one. I would definitely recommend it.I was disheartened that the item I purchased less than a week ago was on sale for $14 less. I chatted with an Amazon rep and he tells me that Amazon could not credit the price difference and the only way to get the sale price was to return the original item for a refund and then purchase it again at the sale price. That is way too much work to return and repurchase. Amazon should have a better method for dealing with items they put on sale for customers who purchased it at a higher price before the sale. I would think a store credit could be used to fix the problem. 3 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars good but not great...and getting worse latest update : I'm still using the unit but I'm no longer getting any alerts that the hopper is empty, or the feed outlet is blocked.Edit: communicated with the supplier who sent me a new unit which so far is working perfectly. Great customer serviceWe just got a cabin in the woods which means more frequent trips away from home. For one night, I used to just put extra food down for my cats, but for two nights I was thinking I needed to get someone to come in for feeding. But, all that was solved with this device. Set up was easy, and it's been working just fine. You have to experiment with the number of portions per delivery. I updated the firmware a couple of weeks ago and since then I haven't been able to access logs. Well, I can access them, there just aren't any. Previously I could see a list of successful runs. Now I just have to hope that it worked. In addition, I keep getting told there is a new firmware update which fails every time I try with a "network connection error" message. I've even reset the device and started all over again but still won't update. The other annoyance is that the message/indication for low food isn't low food...it's NO food. I would prefer to get notified that the food level was getting low rather than the food has run out completely. I've also had the 'outlet blocked' message a couple of times. The reason is pretty clear, the distance that the food has to fall from the outlet into the bowl is so small that it doesn't drop...merely 'flows'...and so it gets blocked pretty easily. I will maybe persevere for another couple of weeks but I am on the verge of sending it back. 7 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Game changer This is a total game changer for me. I have two cats and used to be woken up every morning by them begging for breakfast (there was no sleeping in lol). With this I was able to easily set a scheduled timer and have specific portions dished out with a voice call! As soon as they hear the first few drops of food hit the bowl they go running and I get to sleep in. Win win! One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for 2 cats! We originally had 2 singular feeders, but our cats were never good at each taking their own feeder, and one of them in particular had a terrible design. This double feeder is great - they are better at getting their own portions because they are both busy eating at the same time instead of running back and forth between feeders. It also takes up a lot less space, and we like having to just track the food levels on one machine. We are big fans of the automatic feeders in general because they allow us to space out a series of small meals throughout the day and night and the cats don't constantly bother us about being fed anymore.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great as a backup I bought the automatic cat feeder to have a backup in case of unexpected travel/ absence. The product works well, especially the Wi-Fi “feed now” capability, which allows you to feed off schedule. I used this when my pet sitter got ill over thanksgiving and couldn’t feed my cats for two days while I was out of town. My cats have so far been unable to figure out how to open the feeder. Although the automatic feeder speaker works to advise that the machine is locked, the speaker does not work to announce the “meal call.”

3.0 out of 5 stars Not perfect but it gets the job done I have three cats and had grown tired of constantly putting food in their bowl. We also go out of town every once in a while and I have always put out several bowls of food to hold my cats over for a few days.I finally decided to buy an automated feeder for them and this is the one I bought and have now owned for 4 months.Overall:I can’t compare this feeder to others since this is my first one. This feeder is not completely hands free. There are times when food gets hung up and it will error out. So if I don’t keep an eye on this, they will run out of food. The error code is meant to prevent over filling but can work against you when a few kibbles are hung up in there. Simply picking the feeder up and tilting it will clear it but often times I will have to add some food since they likely missed a feeding.I will still leave out one plate of food when we go out of town just in case some kibbles get hung up.The picture I left on this review shows what I mean. It blinks E 1 and won’t fill anymore due to it thinking there is enough food. The cat food we use is Friskies. When this machine fails, I will look at another option.

4.0 out of 5 stars It will feed your pets Key take away : If you require precise portion division skip this product or be prepared to modify the divider arm.Pros:So far so good. You can put it together easily. It holds quite a bit of kibble. The lid locks on well and depending where it is placed it would be difficult for a pet to knock over the entire assembly so it is stabile. When empty it is light as it is made of plastic and the bowls are thin metal. The dispensing action is loud so account for that if placed near sleeping area. It can sustain power outages for at-least 15 minutes and not lose its time or settings which is nice. It likely will survive longer but I did not test that yet. It WILL NOT dispense food during a power outage unless you have installed batteries. The food division is pretty close to equal when the lever is maxed to the right. The manual (correctly) advises you not to install batteries until you plan to be away for an extended period as batteries tend to leak over time and will corrode the internals eventually.Overall the controls aren’t completely intuitive. The instructions are a foreign translation that has been reviewed but are not perfect so there is room for interpretation. There is no volume control for the voice replay so expect to record it a few times adjusting your personal voice volume to get what is right for you. It can be convoluted to configure some of the settings and, to me, needed to be walked through before the instructions made sense. The kibble division isn’t half and half when the arm is set to the far right. It’s close but not perfect. 7 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Overall This is good overall but it really doesn't dispense evenly even after adjusting it according to the manual. It also can take a bit of time setting it up and adjusting the time and the amount. You can only move forward to the next step so if you make a mistake in a step, you'll need to restart to the beginning of the steps and make that one change. Also, one portion size is pretty huge. If they can make it smaller, it would be even better.

4.0 out of 5 stars Seems to work. Dialed in. Notifications in app work. Holds a fair bit of dry food. Wifi connection worked fine on our 5Ghz network via the app setup. A little unclear during setup if once the wifi icon stops blinking, it’s still connecting as long as you started the process while blinking. Answer is yes.The food drops a little slower than the PetSafe feeder we had before, but that’s fine. Cats shouldn’t be inhaling kibbles anyway.I had taken our previous standard single feed amount for 2 cats (1/8c each, 2x daily) and weighed it and then tried a few dispensing amounts on the Petlibro to see which reached closest to that weight. For us, 2 units equals about 34g dispensed. So the unit = 10g isn’t very precise or universal. These kibbles are fairly small. They get that twice daily as usual. If it becomes unreliable we may increase one feeding to 3 units. The wifi has yet to disconnect on me, in a few days. We’ll see how that holds up.The alarm notifications for empty feeder, failure to dispense show up just fine in the app but I haven’t seen them pushed to my iOS notifications yet. Not sure if I just didn’t notice during the one day and night we had it on but empty, before we switched over. I’ve checked the app permissions and it seems like it should push alerts just fine.I don’t plan on using the recorded voice feature. It seems weird to hear ourselves played back every time it feeds the cats. The long battery springs are yes, odd, but didn’t pose much of an issue with installing batteries. It recognizes when those backups are charged or not, which is nice.My main complaint is actually a structural design issue. The way the hopper body slides over the feeder mechanism isn’t sealed in any way, like the refill lid is with a silicone gasket. Like, why the heck would you seal the top but not the bottom… *where kibble dust and debris will fall*? Hopper slides over the base and latches fine, but would it have been so hard to put a gasket between these 2 pieces as well? That’s also an easy route for ants if they happen. But so is the spout, so maybe that isn’t a solvable issue without having a sealed door between hopper and chute.Other minor complaint: the splitter angle sticker peels off easy and clean from the bowl holder. The sticker on the lid does NOT. And using any solvent up here after removing and being left with a gluey residue, will probably start dissolving the lid surface. Why??? Why is the adhesive more strongly attached to the lid, and yet they look like the same kind of stickers? Why does the lid plastic start dissolving and smearing badly when using acetone or Goo Gone? This is NOT a good set of material choices on the company’s part, whatever the cause. After getting a replacement lid, I just covered the lid sticker with another sticker to hide it.Cats took to it right away when they realized it produces food. Much smaller footprint than the big converter belt non-wifi PetSafe brand it replaced. Now we can manually feed or pause feedings without fiddling around with feeder buttons and strange press-sequences to accomplish tasks. So far so good (1 week). 12 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Great, but not wifi enabled They thought of almost everything! The feeder is sturdy but not heavy and stays solidly upright. I love having 2 separate bowls so my cats each have room for their entire face lol. The dispensing mechanism works perfectly and doesn’t allow even small paws to get any extra. The screw-on top has a seal. There’s a plug plus battery box if electricity is lost. The buttons have to be touched until they beep (maybe 2-4 seconds). The buttons are tiny and obscured by the food storage. I would have preferred the programming and manual feeding could be managed from my phone instead of on the floor.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does not equally distribute food This does not equally distribute food despite it claiming that it provides "precision portion control". There is a meal splitter that can be adjusted in two positions, but equal amounts of food still are not being given in both bowls. The difference is about 20% between them. To remedy this, I have to force the splitter to go more to the right. So far, the splitter has stayed in place without it falling off naturally or by my cats playing with it. Another big gripe about this is that the instructions aren't great about what the portion sizes are. You pretty much have to figure it out by trial and error. Other than that, I like the minimal aesthetic of the feeder, the more secure locking mechanism of the food, and the dual power mode.

4.0 out of 5 stars My experience after two years of use Through no fault of the product, I am online to order a replacement. I thought I'd write a review after my experience of using the first one for almost two years. Overall, I love it! I struggled a bit with programing the first time, but after doing it once, changes are not difficult. Second, it clearly says "not for outdoor use", but I have used successfully on a covered carport with no issues - it just needs to stay dry. It is very durable - A racoon once dragged the feeder out of the carport to a nearby field. The racoon was not able to get the feeder open to get to the food. After I recovered all the pieces and put it back together, it had a few permanent scars, but it worked perfectly. The directions are very vague about what defines a "portion". I don't know why they don't give a portion size in ounces or a dry measurement. After some experimenting I worked out that 10 "portions" = one cup. Finally, as a longer term user, I'd advise you to plan to take the feeder apart once or twice a year to clean the internal mechanism. It can get gummed up inside and that will cause an error message that is annoying to re-set.My best recommendation is that I am buying it again. One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars I love the 21st Century! Very easy to set up, very easy to program, very easy to walk away and not have to worry about feeding cats on a routine every day. After reading other reviews, here are my observations. The portion size is not adjustable, but there's a very easy and obvious fix. It's not going to come out at the size that *you* personally may prefer, however, you can set it such that each time it dispenses it sends out 1, 2 or 5 or 50 (or higher) portions, so you get exactly the amount you feel is right, right on schedule. The trick is to take a minute before you set it out and hit the portion button with food in the hopper. Note how much there is then keep count while hitting the button until you see as much food as you wish in both bowls. Mine is set to dispense 5 portions which perfectly satisfies my speedy fuzz cats at both scheduled feeding times. There is a small gate that you place in between the bowls. You do not set it perfectly straight to get even amounts, rather, you skew to the right. The reason is that this dispenses from a wheel type mechanism that has a bias to fill more on the right than left, simple physics. Setting the pointer so that when you're looking at it there is about a 1/5th bias towards the right hand side, will open up the dispensing so that more comes in on the left and less comes in on the right. It took exactly ten seconds to figure this out. Just a bit of trial and error and you should be set.The programming isn't intuitive at first, but follow the manual instructions and it works out fine. I do not have to think about what to press to get desired results any longer. The term we used to use back in the day is RTFM (read the "fine" manual), which turns out is great advice. The battery backup is sweet because it seems like the cats might "accidentally" pull the cord out if they're feeling inclined, or frisky, or just want to cause trouble. It uses 3 x C batteries, so come prepared for that as it doesn't ship with batteries in the box.All in all I love the feeder so far, and recommend it (again, so far). Between this, the roomba, my Worx robotic lawn mower and an incoming pet water dispenser, I'm living the life of a proper 21st century gentleman. 63 people found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars A bit disappointed Easy to set up. Sturdy well made.Compared to the other auto feeder we had the food coming down is not as loud so the cats are a bit confused. Even with the recording. So one cat who loves to eat gets most of the food. We are not always around to either pick up bowl or encourage the other cat to eat.The other thing is the splitter - following instructions one side does get more food than the other. Mr Flash seems to hone in on that side.

4.0 out of 5 stars Happy with it! It’s really easy for the food to get stuck and an error code pop up when dispensing, but is super easy to just move the food along and the dispenser continues. Also helped to adjust portion sizes and frequency of feeding to reduce it getting stuck. One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Learning curve but great Slight learning curve but its been reliable and does exactly what we need it to do. It evenly splits the portion between the two bowls. The other reviews that mentioned its uneven are not reading the instructions. It specifically says how to adjust the dial so that its even.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wouldn't Connect to WiFi UPDATE: I purchased a second feeder & experienced the exact same issues. I contacted Petlibro and they requested a video of my problems. I spent and additional hour (24 hours in total on trying to troubleshoot) with Xfinity to troubleshoot if it was my Wifi connection. I sent all the info to Petlibro and they weren't able to assist with fixing the issue. I was completely frustrated. Petlibro is now sending me another feeder at no cost in hopes that I can connect this 3rd feeder to WiFi....FINGERS CROSEED! Petlibro is standing behind their product and customer satisfaction, which is quite amazing in today's world. My sister raved about this pet feeder, but mine was defective. I spent an entire day to try and get this to connect to my WiFi (right before I was supposed to leave on a trip).- I downloaded the app and it immediately asked me to update (which it never did)- I spent over 12 hours trying to hook up to my WiFi (took all my devices off of wifi except phone)- I placed the feeder directly next to my router...nothing- I thought I got it to connect and tried Activating the feeder and it disconnected from wifi and feeder timed out multiple times.- I removed feeder from app and cleared all data (including deleting and reinstalling the app) MULTIPLE times.- I unplugged the feeder for 20 minutes and started the process all over again, at least 12 times....still never connected. While I could set a feeding schedule and feed manually, if I left the house it wouldn't feed because it wasn't connected to wifi and my phone was not near the feeder (obviously this is why I bought it in the first place).- Even if I was able to feed manually through the App, nothing ever logged (no notifications, and yes, it was turned on).Thankfully, Amazon accepted this return for a full refund even though I no longer had the original box that it came in. Thank you, Amazon! So disappointing, and not sure that I can trust any of these products, even though my sis is encouraging me to try again :( 9 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars A great great addition to our cat water fountain... Wish had bought this a long time ago! No more early ups on the weekends to feed the hungry cats. Love the voice memo feature to alert them it "din din time!" Only other feature would be to put an LED indicator showing food reservoir low or empty like our single one from PetLibre. Just have to check it once in a while as we should anyway for proper operation.

3.0 out of 5 stars Five design flaws that you should know before buying I purchased this dual feeder to replace one from another brand that broke after a few years of service. These are the design flaws I discovered with this product:1. The steel bowls fit so tightly into the bowl frame you can't readily remove them from the top for cleaning. To remove bowls, you take out the tiny divider gate piece, and disconnect the bowl frame from the feeder. Then you can take the bowl frame to the sink to flip the bowls out. That could be fixed by drilling a hole in the bottom of the bowl frame. Then you can poke the bowl out from below with your finger without having to disassemble everything.2. You can't use your own bowls, and no food chute-drop.Better designed dual feeders have chutes that drop food down into the bowl. This lets you substitute your bowls. This feeder is flush-mounted, no chute-drop. You're forced to use their bowls as nothing else will fit the bowl frame.A side-effect of this flush-mount design is that there is a seam between bowl and frame that catches crumbs. The chute-drop design does not have this seam.I was hoping for a third-party dual feeder chute attachment that would let you use your own bowls, but could not find it.3. I don't get that little gate divider piece design.A minor point, but what is with this so-called feature that lets you divert more food to the right bowl vs the left (but not more food to the left bowl). Who actually wants this? <1%? This is bad design suggested by the product engineer not a result from customer feedback.Just simplify design, assembly, and instructions by making it 50-50.4. The food hopper is a narrow vertical design. With a vertical design versus horizontal, the mouth of the hopper is smaller. That makes it much more challenging to fill the hopper, especially with a large, heavy bag of food.A better design is the horizontal hopper.5. The hopper window is too narrow to see food level at a glance. When the inside the hopper is dark and you have dark cat food, it's hard to see what's going on without closer inspection. I was actually looking for a way to get a small dim LED into the hopper to compensate. They should enlarge the window. maybe make it the same width the the food exit opening.Ultimately the bowl issues were too much for me, and I moved on to something else, ipettie dual. It has none of these design issues, but we'll see if there are others. *iPettie had other issues and I moved on to PetSafe Smart Feed for the win.-----*2023-07 update: customer support reached out to me and let me know feedback was received, so I added one star back in for excellent customer service. 14 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars I ordered a double recieved a single I ordered the double barrel and received the single shot. I ordered a “used like new “ item and just decided to keep it because I needed a feeder that day and didn’t want to wait the 3-5 business days to get my money back and then order a new one. I reached out to Amazon to remedy this situation but I haven’t heard back from them. All in all the feeder is nice and holds quite a bit of food, is fairly easy to program and use. It has a recording feature to call your furbabies with your voice which is nice. The feeder itself is nice and seems to function well. One person found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Great feeder for my 2 cats! I really like this automatic feeder! I use it every 1-2 weekends when I am out of town and am very glad I purchased it. The only feature I am not pleased with is the Lock feature, as it does not seem to Lock at all when I press the button, which I am guessing is a mechanical bug. Once when I was setting it up and had it unlocked, one of my cats sniffed/booped the single-portion button with his nose and dispensed some food, so I definitely do not trust leaving it unattended without making sure the screen is locked. As a result, I have to physically watch and wait for the screen to time out (maybe a 60-120 second wait) to make sure that it locks before leaving the house. The portion sizes take some time to figure out, but I like how I have the option to feed my boys up to 6 times during the day (though I only do it twice, once in the morning and once in the evening), and that I can choose to dispense either an equal or unequal amount of food for each cat. Set up took about 8-10 minutes and was super straightforward. I will probably add batteries to the unit to make sure it still works even if I lose power, which did happen a few times while I was away during a thunderstorm. Luckily, the time on the feeder was still accurate when the power returned, which was super helpful.I would definitely recommend this! In the future, I may upgrade to the higher quality feeder with the camera + app, but I think this was a great investment and an affordable price. 10 people found this helpful
