2.0 out of 5 stars Wish the backboard was better quality While I understand that using the backboard to also serve as the box/container for the rest of the hoop saves a lot of money, I wish the backboard was something more durable that cardboard. This isn't built to handle any wear and tear at all. They just don't build things to last anymore. I think companies think it will cause us to buy the product again, but I'm never buying a product that breaks. On the other hand, I'd recommend a quality product to literally everything I know. There no chance this would last through any kind of rough play, which is how every indoor mini hoop game ever went when I was younger.

3.0 out of 5 stars In expensive, but works Bought this for my classroom. Wanted something inexpensive because I'm close to retirement. Came in the mail crooked and it was not easy to get the net on. I finally had to tape the net on because after a "basket", it came off. It's cheap, but it works.

3.0 out of 5 stars Glorified paper…. Coming from Nerf, I expected good quality. But it’s not. It’s very thin cardboard. I was very worried I was going to break it while I was installing the plastic pieces to the cardboard. That’s how thin and flimsy it is. The net keeps tangling and falling and won’t stay secured to the hoop…. I love that it hangs over the door so I didn’t have to damage my door. I love that. But I wish it were plastic, I wish it were bigger, and I wish the net was more secure. We’ve had it up for two days and I’ve had to fix the net several times. You can’t even double loop the net for extra security, because the net isn’t long enough and the hooks they go on are too thin to hold a double loop. It’s supposed to “click” into place on the clips, but it doesn’t. Honestly I don’t expect this to last more than a month or two. I really wish it were better made. For the price, it’s alright. But I’ll probably end up replacing it soon with a different brand. I’m going to try supergluing the net to the hoop and update my review if this works. Who knows, maybe that’ll be an easy fix! 8 people found this helpful

Unfortunately, the cardboard backing comes lose from the plastic hanger quite frequently. The price is excellent, but for enthusiastic ballers, you might want to find something a bit more sturdy. 2 people found this helpful

I re-rigged it so many times in every way I could think of only to finally end up throwing it all in the trash a month after purchasing because it was causing both him and I so much frustration.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cheap cardboard backboard I didn’t realize when I ordered this that the backboard is literally the cardboard packaging. You detach it from the rest of the packaging and pop in the hoop and hanging hook. I know this is on the less expensive side, which was its draw… but I wasn’t expecting cardboard.I do appreciate that the ball is soft enough to throw in the house. And assembly was fairly easy. Also convenient is the hoop folds down to be flush with the door.Overall, my kid has fun with it. I just know it won’t last long. 3 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Not durable for active young boys I bought this product for my son Christmas of 2023 and it took less than 3 months for him to destroy it. The product came with easy-to-read directions and my son was thrilled upon opening it up Christmas morning. The hoop itself was flimsy, the goal was made of cardboard and was not sturdy. The ball it came with was too easy for him to tear up. I will say for the price, it was a decent product but if your kids have more fun tearing up toys than they do playing them, steer clear from this product.

I let him get, but figured it would be super cheap and break easily because of the price, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised! It is small, and made of cardboard, but it has held up so well and not broken even with my rough little one who dunks and throws the ball at it as hard as he can! Just be sure you don't tear into the box with too much Christmas morning excitement...the back part of the cardboard box is actually the backboard. My son didn't realize that (nor did I) and tore the bottom part where the hoop attaches when he was trying to undo the package tape. We were able to fix it easily, though, with some clear packing tape and it's none the worse, works 100%. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is it wasn't clear that the box shouldn't be torn until it was open and you could see the instructions. I guess you get what you pay for... wouldn't recommend if you want something durable and long lasting. Only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the colors were nice.

Given the fairly cheap construction, I don't have much confidence that it'll last very long, but if you're looking for a cool looking hoop that just needs to last for a couple of uses and won't break the bank, this will certainly do the trick.
