5.0 out of 5 stars Comparison to Yeyian Sigurd 4000 34 Ultra wide A few months back I bought my son this monitior for a new setup. This monitor was very easy to setup and required little configuration to minimize the ghosting for this VA panel. Once HDR and Adaptive Sync were enabled, I adjusted the color temp to 6700, brightness to 14 (AMD GPU) ,and using UFO Ghost, I was able to eliminate nearly all ghosting except for the top row, but it had very little. Now compare this to the Yeyian Sigurd 4000 34 Ultra wide, the KTC is a breeze. I just bought the Yeyian, while seeminly an okay monitor, is taking much too time to configure.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good value, but could have more improvments I tried multiple times to successfully update the firmware, now I could enable GSYNC and local dimming together, which is good. My monitor got a dead pixel at left bottom corner but is almost invisible at normal viewing distance, thanks its 4K resolution.Color under factory setting is over saturated, I did not test sRGB mode but after calibrating it looks fabulous. I read from other review that this screen is not equiped with Low Blue Light hardware solution which is fine to me considering the price. As for local dimming, I will disable it when viewing SDR content and for HDR content, I prefer normal mode rather than high.If you want to use Twinkle Tray to control the brightness, you need to manually enable DDC/CI function from Advanced Settings. The only problem that I'm not satisfied is that the monitor takes too much time to wake up(~10s) and will flash at maximum brightness every time after waking up, so I have to close my eye or try not to watch the screen when surrounding is dark. Hope this could be solved by further firmware updates.

4.0 out of 5 stars Jesus Christ incredible monitor READ UPDATE HUGE EDIT: On the third day of owning this monitor i just noticed that though the marketing product images showed almost bezeless borders where the display appeared to reach the edge of the thin bezels. I realized this monitor still has a thick black border around the display and does NOT reach the bezel like in all of the promotional material!!! I am quite shocked how bad this is. My monitor build date is June 2022 and i wonder if they just enjoy lying in all their product photos or what.DO NOT buy multiple monitors to plan for borderless dual or triple screen use. Look at my photos. LOOK AT THE BOTTOM CORNER LOOK HOW UGLY THE BORDER IS! ITS NOT EVEN SYMMETRICALLY BALANCEDI was interested in 1440p gaming so I did a ton of research and looked for certain specs that I learned from various resources. This monitor is rumors to have the same panel as the $300 MSI so I took a chance especially at this $240 price point. The reviews were right, it feels like a $300+ monitor.TL;DR: Official product images are lying to us, the display does not reach the thin bezeled edges, there is a clear almost half-inch of black space between the display edge and the border. Terrible and bad advertising. After this shocking realization I have docked off one star.///I simply started with youtuber 'techless' monitor settings and installed his ICC profile and I simply made very minor changes and I can say I am speechless how incredible the clarity, brightness, and contrast is.Blacks are very deep, colors pop, even with Windows 11 HDR turned off. Text is very crisp and that was one thing I was worried about.Build is very clean and sturdy and I like the small bezels. Brightness out of the box was set at 90 and it was too bright so It's at 70 for now with ambient light. Don't forget to set up G-Sync on the panel AND in the nvidia settings, you must do both. Again I am blown away at the quality of this panel, it is my favorite PC purchase in a long time! 23 people found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars Not great for Dual monitor gaming I bought two of these monitors for a new gaming setup that would allow me the option for ultra-wide gaming. These monitors are great and I recommend them for single monitor use or to game on one and do other things on the other. I would not recommend them for a dual surround setup. The way it is advertised, as a frameless monitor and as depicted isn't true to what it is. There is a bezel around the monitor screen, so If you use two for gaming immersion, it is broken by a black strip in the middle of the screen about 3/4" wide due to the bezels the pictures do not show.Overall everything else about this monitor is great, so If you only want one monitor, it's worth the money IMO. However, If you plan to use two for a larger screen, I would recommend shopping around some more. Some people say your eyes adjust to it, but so far, that has been impossible for me because my character and important gaming mechanics have been completely obscured by the bezel so many times, and this has remained the case after adjusting the setting for the bezel as well. It's a shame that at least the sides don't have these black strips. If not for the false advertisement, these would get 5 stars. Had It been depicted as it is, I would have an Ultrawide dual monitor gaming setup in which I can see my character, and now it'll be more years before I can get that immersion.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great monitor, but hit or miss on receiving a working one right away. I purchased two of these to be used as vertical monitors, one works fine and looks great! The second one, the one on the left, has horrible issues out of the box though. So it may be hit or miss when you receive yours.Update; replacements golden, no issues! Great experience working with them on replacing the defective unit : )The defective unit has Instant image retention that refuses to go away even after being turned on and off making it look like you have a permanent burn-in from a few second's worth of use. The panel seems shot, unfortunately. They're sending a replacement out after requesting one thankfully.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent monitor, minor software issues, zero support Update: I’ve been on and off in contact with the seller. There is no real support. Every issue is “we will ask an engineer and get back to you”.The monitor does not adhere to standby mode of a pc /laptop - it turns on, black screen but with backlight, no signal message, turns off, 30 seconds later, rinse repeat. Have to shut down PC or unplug cable before it goes into standby mode.Every now and then the backlight messes up local dimming zones and requires the power removed and plugged back in to reset - every week or two.I can no longer return the monitor as it is outside of the Amazon return window, so I’ll keep it. I will not recommend this brand to friends or family. I’ll wait for a reputable US company to release these panels when the software is functional. The lack of support in functional English in a timely manner was the last straw.———Original review:I wrote a very detailed review and naturally the Amazon app goes and crashes. I’ll try again, may keep it short and update afterwards…Packing was great 10/10.Provided cables and decentProvided colour certification is great.Comes with VESA mounting holes which I couldn’t see beforeMonitor runs at 3840x2160p @ 144hz using display port cable and 60hz for HDMI cable (limitation of my 2080 TI GPU)The colour looks a bit white/blue washed out and I had to use Windows HDR calibration to help with brightness adjustments which seems to have helped a little. The monitor menu is severely locked down (I can only adjust blackness levels and sharpness, all other colour settings are disabled. I can select the colour temperature and put it to warm (it still looks a bit on the blue/white side of things, even with this enabled, so I’ll see where this lands…)Edit: if you turn HDR off, you get most of the menu unlockedThis also means I can’t select one of the Professional Modes the monitor is calibrated for.Edit: see above.I had to manually enable NVIDIA G-SYNC along with DDC/CI. I enabled local dimming - it seems to provide a more natural colour balance (?) .Edit: local dimming creates inverse blooming artifactsOverall, this screen made my eyes feel a little tired. I’m a software engineer, and I spend most of my time in front of computers / laptops … and I’m used to most of them… toning down the brightness helps a little but I’ll see where it lands after (hopefully) I get the menu unlocked…I have opened support tickets for two issues:1) the monitor claims it is VESA HDR 1000 certified and windows 11 does not pick it up Edit: this seems to be a windows 11 issue, and/or that the monitor is only VESA 1.0 certified and that certification ended in 20202) the menu is locked down which defeats the entire point of being able to adjust things like brightness and selecting a professional mode.Edit: see previous notes about disabling HDRKnocking off a star for these issues until they are addressed.Update: 30 minutes into playing BG3 the monitor went into a reboot loop, unplugged & removed power it and let it sit for a while and tried again. DP connects, PC detects it briefly, monitor just says no signal and reboots. Swapped to HDMI, turns on and has a bunch of inconsistent backlighting spots even when no signal is present. Reached out to the Seller to request a replacement - I’m hoping this one was just a dud. The game HDR colours were beautiful for the bit it lasted.Edit: after doing a full factory reset as advised by their support, the monitor is working just fine. It’s been around 2 weeks of near daily use and haven’t run into this issue again yet. I run with HDR enabled, Local Dimming disabled (or on low if really needed) and have OverDrive set to standard (higher creates artefacts sometimes)Only remaining negative remark I’d call out is that you can’t actually change monitor selection if it’s bound to a connection already: I have a PC and a laptop, one connected with DP and the other with USB-C and while the menu allows choosing one manually, it doesn’t actually change. Minor issue, but worth noting. 23 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Good screen with some QC issues I got this 4K 32" miniled monitor (M32P10) as I wanted something that would provide better contrast in games and video content, while still being usable for productivity work with no risk of burn-in (the current state of OLED tech isn't there yet). It's an IPS display so it has the typical IPS issues such as IPS glow in dark scenes paired with some backlight bleeding. This mostly disappears when local dimming is enabled. Local dimming however will be prone to some blooming, but it's honestly not really noticeable in regular game/video content. On the desktop it's very noticeable however, and that's where I have local dimming turned off.HDR content looks quite stunning on this screen with high peak brightness. Really adds a whole new dimension of eye candy to games that support HDR (and implemented it well). It's otherwise not a Dolby Vision compatible panel, so only regular HDR10 content is supported for videos. For games, the panel response time is quick enough for most types of games. But if you're a high level competitive gamer, look elsewhere as there are much faster panels out there. This monitor has a panel similar to the one in the Asus PG32UQX, but it's slightly newer and significantly faster than the panel in the Asus.I'm currently on my second panel. The first one I received wasn't as uniform as this second one. Both panels however suffer from the same issues: coil whine (a mild buzzing sound you can hear coming from the screen when it's turned on), and inconsistently waking from sleep. The coil whine appears to be an issue that plagues most miniled type monitors at the moment. KTC support said that the coil whine is within spec and shouldn't affect the panel's operation otherwise. The wake from sleep issue is more serious. Basically, anytime I lock my Windows PC with ctrl+alt+del, eventually the monitor switches to stand-by mode with the power led turning into a red blinking light. When I tap the keyboard or move the mouse, normally a monitor should wake back up (I'm using two monitors, the other one from a different brand), and the KTC does not wake up while my second monitor does. I have to first manually turn off the monitor, and turn it back on.This behavior was seen on both panels, so it's likely a hardware or firmware issue. This points to poor quality control by KTC as this should've been caught in testing. Hopefully it can be resolved with a firmware update. To KTC's credit, they've been reasonably responsive to my support requests (through Amazon here), but the suggestions they made did not resolve the wake on sleep issue. I asked if they have any upcoming firmware releases for this monitor, no answer yet.Another QC issue I experienced is that the second panel that arrived came with a non-functioning power brick. I had to use the power brick of the first panel I had received to get it to turn on. Again something that should've been caught before it left the factory.I'm hoping the wake from sleep issue can be resolved, or else it's not a monitor I can live with and I'll have to return this second panel as well and get something else. I'll update this review if it gets resolved or not.For now giving it 4 stars. If the standby issue can't be resolved I'll downgrade it to 2 stars. 3 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent monitor with an excellent price point I was researching monitors for a while and this one seemed to check all the boxes. Good refresh rate, high resolution, g sync compatibility, and a great price at the time of my purchase. I was a little concerned with the brand as I hadn’t heard of them, but it was a great product. Packaged well and started right up with no issues. One thing to note is that the g sync only works with the display port and my laptop didn’t have it so I had to get a DP to usb c display port adapter which reduced the refresh rate to 144, which was a little disappointing, but it was user error and I made it work.

1.0 out of 5 stars Thought I found a good deal, man was I wrong (2k 1440p 165hz model) First impressions were positive, besides the unit not including the usb-c, usb3.1 or hdmi cable it said would be in the package. No matter to me since I had some sitting around. I tuned in the settings, enabled HDR, configured the colors to a good level and then the problems began.Currently the most glaring issue is the resets of the panel. It randomly goes into fits of blacking out, while not disconnecting. Sometimes it does this once and works, other times it can happen 5+ times in a minute. So once this started (day 2) I immediately knew I had to replace the unit. Looking at it further the panel has an uneven brightness across the display, this may be related. The right side is noticeably darker than the left which has a more washed out appearance to it. While poking around looking for a remedy I noticed that the settings offer a 4k option. Interesting since this worked and capped the refresh rate at 60hz which suggests the panel is the same as the 4k model, but has an inferior logic board that limits its throughput. I tried DP cables and an 8k HDMI 2 cable with no change in results.Another irritation was that I never found the option to actually run at the fully stated specs of 1440p 165hz with hdr enabled. I do have the unit running at 144hz while I wait for my replacement to arrive, but due to the blackouts it remains unusable.I also want to mention that when HDR is enabled in games the feature that was supposed to boost the darks doesn't seem to work. This is also resulting in anything that uses GPU acceleration being far too dark to use, like the oculus store app. The brights do get blindingly bright though.Besides the janky OSD, the unit lacks a power button. Seems an odd thing for a monitor to omit, but I guess you get what you pay for.So end of story, I'm going to pay some more and stick to reputable brands and avoid "deals" like this. I'd say I learned a lesson here. 5 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice Monitor I paired this monitor with Amazon Basics Display Port 1.4 Cable. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FBJYWTJ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 Windows was successfully able to set the refresh rate to 165Hz. Available refresh rates are 60, 120, 144, & 165Hz. If you use HDMI, you will be limited to 60 & 120Hz.The picture is crisp and sharp with good colors right out of the box. There are no dead, stuck, or otherwise bad pixels on the monitor I received. FreeSync/G-Sync & HDR work great. Overdrive is actually good on this monitor, as well. The monitor was packaged well with zero damage of any kind. The stand is cheap and not really worth using if you have any alternatives. I use a desk mounted adjustable monitor stand and it works great. Catch it on sale, or one like it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SBXVCTK?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsIf you can score this monitor on sale ($119 after coupon, etc.), I believe it is well worth the price. 3 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible - especially for the price. I took a gamble and hit the jackpot. This review is for the:KTC Gaming Monitor, 27 Inch 1440p 165Hz 144hz Monitor, 2K QHD 1ms GTG Fast IPS Computer Monitor, HDR, HDMI/USB C/DP Vertical Monitor, FreeSync & G-Sync, Swivel Tilt Height Pivot Adjustable, H27T22First off, several reviewers have left inaccurate reviews based on their lack of knowledge; be it lack of knowledge of this specific monitor, monitors in general, or even their operating systems, GPU control panel settings, or game settings.I want to correct some inaccuracies:1. The monitor is 27 inches - NOT 24 inches. Monitors are measured diagonally, NOT horizontally. This monitor measures 27 inches diagonally (while it measures 24 inches horizontally).2.1 The monitor does have true HDR (not fake HDR), and it has very strong effects, especially when properly configured. Needing to configure HDR is not a limitation of this monitor. It is a fact of life as it relates to HDR. It needs to be configured in the monitor, AND in the Windows operating system (search "Windows HD Color Settings" and turn on "Use HDR" - presumably, if you're using MacOS, it likely also has something similar to this), AND in each specific game which you want to use HDR in.2.2 When using HDR, you want to adjust your color, brightness, contrast, black level, gamma, etc. in the GPU control panel (e.g. NVIDIA Control Panel), the Windows OS (search "Color Management" > then click the "Advanced" tab where you'll find a lot of options), and in each specific game. I cannot test to be sure, but I believe a similar function may exist within modern consoles, at least as it relates to turning on HDR, but also likely brightness, gamma, etc. in the consoles themselves, and at least in games. This can be adjusted to be easy on the eyes, and even far beyond that (i.e. the limitation far exceed the need and therefor do not restrict your ability to make it adjust just the way you like it).Beyond that, I have a few things to say:1. If IPS panels are supposed to have poor black levels, this monitor completely changes this rule. The blacks are pitch black; like a black hole, they are so black. Again, you have to know what you're doing to properly configure things. So if your blacks don't look black, it is a problem with your configuration, NOT the monitor - unless perhaps you got a lemon, but that isn't likely as this company, while new to consumers, has been producing monitor hardware for decades and isn't as new as they seem.2. The brightness and contrast are extremely well defined. No complaints whatsoever.3. The HDR truly puts this monitor in an entirely new class of it's own. the level of detail, the dark blacks, the bright whites (to whatever level you adjust them), the contrast, the color vibrancy/saturation - it all looks so amazing, and it is extremely broad in how it can display images, video, and games. The colors are amazing, and can go far beyond what you need, or dialed back if you prefer.3. The 1 ms response time, the 165Hz refresh rate, the 1440p (2K) resolution, the G-Sync & FreeSync, the incredible viewing angles of 178° both horizontal AND vertical, and fully adjustable height, swivel, tilt, and pivot, all add up to a monitor without any significant weakness compared to other monitors, and many very solid strengths.(It's late and I need to go to bed, so I'll wrap it up.)Overall, just as the title says, after a LOT of research into buying a new monitor, I still left like I was taking a gamble buying this one. Yet, I did, and it truly feels like I hit the jackpot or won the lottery. I HIGHLY recommend this monitor, so get it while it's hot. I am still in awe at how awesome this monitor it. 119 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Great monitor This is a very competitively priced monitor in my opinion but QA for this company is trash at best. My monitor arrived with light bleeding in the top right corner but I really wanted something to play on so I kept it as to not go through the hassle of taking the thing apart and putting it back in the box. It’s a nice monitor and the bezels aren’t too thick and the price was honestly what made me go for it. I bought this in February and August comes around and my display seems to have died. Just nothing coming up on the input so I looked into getting a replacement per the manufacturer warranty.Getting in touch with them is a pain. No one answers the support email on their website for days and when they finally do they go dark for another five days. Eventually I get a response and after some back and forth showing proof that it’s not functioning right and proof of purchase etc they offer to replace it for me. They give me an address to send the monitor to so I package everything up and send it. I don’t get a shipping label from them just the address so I have to spend $75 in shipping costs on my end to return their faulty product! I understand it’s a small, up and coming company but this KTC brand is a joke. It’s now been about 3 weeks and I haven’t received any confirmation that they even got the thing. The best that they could do was “check with the warehouse first.” It’s honestly looking like I got scammed and now I’m out $350 in total costs just because I decided to give an unknown manufacturer a try. What a mistake that was.Update: after several weeks after I submitted a claim, they sent me a new replacement monitor. This one doesn’t have any light bleed so that’s a plus. As I said in the original review the monitor itself is really good quality wise, refresh rate, and is at a great price. I wish their customer support was a little faster but they’re very polite and attentive in their emails. I should’ve been more patient but since they are a small manufacturer based in China I assumed the worst with it.Really good monitor. 18 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Really is a great monitor for this price 31.5" 2K WQHD Curved. Love this monitor. Like many who are buying this, I also felt like I was taking a gamble, but it paid off. I'm coming from a 27" AOC Agon 144hz, and even though it's the same resolution, this monitor looks noticeably better. May be because this is an "IPS" monitor. The color is excellent, and the brightness is good even with a window open on a sunny day. The build quality seems average but I was shocked how LIGHT the monitor is, I really liked that. I also like how it lets you boost the refresh to 170hz when using DP. That being said...Things you should know before buying:This is NOT a frameless monitor. Inside the plastic housing there is a black border, a few mm's at most. Also this is NOT an ultrawide, not sure where they got that from. It's a regular 16:9, although obviously you can force it to display ultrawide if you want to use less of the monitor.Lastly, don't make my mistake and assume that the vents on the back sides were built-in speakers SMH. Now I have to buy speakers, but that's alright I guess.Aside from a couple nitpicks and me being an idiot, this monitor is glorious and I'm super happy with it. Hope this helps you with your decision! 4 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Budget gaming monitor with a high end feel. The media could not be loaded.  Typically, i like to wait a bit before reviewing anything i buy online. But honestly, this KTC monitor impressed me for being a budget option at this price point so I’m going to go ahead and five my thoughts on it. packinng was what you would expect, nothing too fancy. Included was the mount and and stand for the monitor as well as the power cord, an HDMI cable and a DisplayPort cable. The Good:- Picture quality on this monitor is really good. 1440p looks crisp and clear and even downscaling to 1080p, while degrading the image a bit, still doesn’t look overly fuzzy. So if you really wanted to play or use this monitor at 1080p you could. (But being a 1440p monitor, don’t know why you would want to)- there is very very little ghosting with this monitor at stock settings, i found that setting overdrive to low makes the ghosting pretty much go away without reducing image quality at all so that what I’ve kept mine on. I’ve attached a video to try and show an example of what it looks like.- Freesync/ G-Sync works well without issues, there was no flickering at all during gaming at 165hz. Gaming felt smooth and i had no issues with stuttering or response time. Just note, 165hz only works with the DP cable. If you decide to use HDMI, you’ll only be able to go up to 144hz.- Talking about the picture quality, the colors are vibrant without looking overly saturated, the blacks, while not being as dark as you’d see on a VA monitor, are still pretty good. Out of the box, you probably wont need to adjust the settings at all, unless you want really want to.- Speaking of settings, i thought that using one button to essentially control everything would be annoying, but it’s actually pretty easy. Just press the button once to access the menu, and then move it in the direction you want to change whatever settings you want and then press the button again to turn off the menu. The Bad:- the monitor did arrive with some stuck pixels at the bottom right corner of the screen , just above the power button. It wasn’t enough to make me want to return it, as it isn’t noticeable when using the monitor for gaming or when using it for day to day tasks. This is more a QC issue more than anything, so your mileage may vary. I’ve attached a picture of it so you can see it for yourself.- although it doesn’t affect performance at all, the RGB lights on the back of the monitor only have the option to turn it on or off and no setting to change the color to whatever you want. Out of the box, it just changes colors in this slow wave like effect. But this is just me being nit-picky.- HDR on thins monitor is pretty bad, it does increase the brightness a bit if that’s what you’re looking for, but it washes out the colors too much and overall just looks too bright imo without manually changing settings in both the monitor and windows. If you’re looking for a monitor for primarily game in HDR, you might want to look at other options.- this one is me being nit picky again, but the USB port on the back of the monitor doesn’t seem to have functionality, seems its just there to use a USB stick to update firmware or something. I plugged a mouse in there and a USB light strip, the mouse didn’t work at all and only half of the light strip lit up. So while a cool feature, doesn’t seem all that useful. I don’t know, maybe it’s in a firmware update that I haven’t done yet? Ill update this if i’m able to figure out more.UPDATE: the USB port on the back works, i ended up swapping out old parts for new ones and it suddenly started working. I tried a LED strip and a mouse and both worked fine. I don’t know why or how this would interfere with the monitor, but it is what it is.Overall, this monitor is really solid for the price, it comes with decent enough features to make it comparable with other options, but keep in mind it is a budget monitor so you won’t get some of the features here like you’d see with higher end models. But if you’re looking to get a gaming monitor with good image quality, good colors, high refresh rate, a 1ms response time and no ghosting, you’d be hard pressed to find a better monitor at this price point. 66 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Great IPS monitor for fair price There are many QHD monitors for around the same price nowadays. However the one thing that sets it apart from others is that for its price, you're able to get an IPS panel. The installation process for the monitor was extremely simple. You just had to screw on the base and the monitor snap and clicked into place. The colors are amazing and crisp and clear. The 165hz refresh rate is also fantastic. One of the best looking I've seen. No dead pixels or anything at all.I didn't notice any light bleeding. The brightness is great for when it is in a normally light room. However, if it is a room where it's ridiculously bright, then of course you won't be able to see anything. The other features that's nice is the ergonomic ability of it. Being able to adjust the height of the monitor, sway it from left or right, and also rotating it to 90 degrees is amazing!Overall, I'm satisfied with the monitor and don't regret it. 10 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars impressive game play, Battlefield is like brand new and I'm a terrible shot with most guns. I got this 27inch monitor and had to get a GPU so I could play games, a Zotak GT 730 worked great and I didn't need to get a new power supply (250w) now I can see all those little.... hum, little soldiers... shooting me before I can even swing my gun up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing colors and responsiveness Had a defective unit initially which got me on the fence to skip KTC althogether , but luckily Customer support replied really fast, and decided to get a replacement. I'm glad I went that route, this monitor is really good quality/price, very high brightness, good color reproduction and is wicked fast! Going from 60hz to 165hz is a really nice upgrade

5.0 out of 5 stars Ktc m27t20 Simply amazing. 100% do firmware update. set custom resolution to 2560x1440p 165hz to get hdr vrr free/G sync all working at 165. True 10 bit hdr even on pc is stunning. Do hdr calibration and turn sdr/hdr slider all the way up. Beats my 77” c2 oled in gaming picture. It pops and deep blacks stunning

3.0 out of 5 stars A mixed bag So I got this monitor because I wanted something that can do HDR Content and did not break the bank, I also was a coward and did not want to run the risk of OLED burnin.I can say, for viewing HDR Content this monitor is FANTASTIC, in gaming and in HDR Media playback its wonderful (For gaming DO NOT Turn on Overdrive though the black smearing is some of the worst I have ever seen and made it unplayable)However, I have decided to return it and switch it out for the OLED Model, and I will explain why.The why is mostly about what this monitor is like outside of the HDR content, I have tried changing every setting I can but the colors on non HDR content are just washed out and flat, I have 2 non HDR monitors and both of them have vibrant colors and make the SDR content on this thing look like trash, the Pixel arrangement also leads to a very uncomfortable blurryness on sharp edges (like the windows logo and text) that when I do have to do work on it makes my eyes hurt. This is also a nitpick but the cursor bloom really bugs me, I KNEW it was going to do it but this monitor is really bad about it in SDR content with backlighting on (and turning dimming zones on and off constantly is just not worth it)In Summary, if you are going to do NOTHING else but game or watch HDR content on this thing buy it, for the price its pretty unbeatable, but if you use it for work as well, or if you are sensitive to seeing the backlight change around your cursor I cant recommend it for all the reasons I stated.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bright but a little slow Bought a few other brand's along with this. Every other brand instantly started up once the pc was turned on. KTC was very slow to respond. The mini led just didn't work out of the box then all of a sudden worked. I sent it back and bought the KTC 42 inch 4k oled. The picture quality is awesome for me. I tweaked it a lil n now I'm looking past the lil quirks.. Slow to start, going into sleep mode you need to push the joy stick to start again. Gaming is awesome. People don't like the mat screen but doesn't hurt the pop when playing games.it's a keeper. One person found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Great after flashing usb update Prior to updating the software the hdr looked bad, the picture settings were locked down pretty much completely and it was stuck in 144hzafter updating the monitor the hdr and local dimming were adjustable and i find it looks the best on auto especially when playing games as the shadows when moving have a ghost effect on standard and high. watching hdr content on youtube looks very nice and the contrast is sooo noticeable! there’s a little bit of blooming around highlights of some scenes if u watch oled content but it’s not distracting at all and adds a little shimmery effect on bright things. the picture settings in hdr are still completely locked down and you can’t turn the brightness down either. i’ve pretty much kept it in sdrmode as the local dimming is still usable, i would only use hdr during the day or in a bright room because it gets super bright! 165hz is also not an option in hdr either so you have to play at 144hz unless you switch to hdr mode. another thing i noticed that some other reviews mentioned were the kvm switches not really being usable. the usb c port wont display from my laptop but i can use my mouse that was plugged in and my pc that runs through display port doesn’t recognize the mouse. The kvm switches and not being able to use 165hz and turn the brightness down in hdr mode is the biggest con in my opinion. I wonder if there’s some way i could know if they do another update to fix that, at least being able to adjust the brightness in hdr might make me turn it on for good. Other than that the picture quality is beautiful and the contrast is next level. if your not used to mini led or oled this is a game changer and it’s exactly what your looking for in a high end display at a budget price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the price What can I say? it's a decent monitor for the price they ask. It's an IPS Panel with HDR and 165Hz with an included DisplayPort cable (In case you didn't have on; never tested so I don't know if the 12th pin is active or not)If you are in a pinch - need something with HDR support and a high refresh-rate then this is the buy. Beware the panel IS a tad bit dark. With HDR it does brighten things up but beware without HDR enabled this can be a tad dark but not much.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Monitor overall Lots of Bells and Whistles, it did take some time to get it to work with my MacBook pro but finally got it dialed in. With My Windows rig, it needed little to no tweaks to get great pics. I dont game but do like building computers and this fit in well with my gaming computer. I am still getting used to the big screen so probably would used for work use. Doesnt seem to have that pop that Oled screens however but a fraction of the price at time of this review

5.0 out of 5 stars Not too bad for a $79.99 1080p 24" TV monitor. Stay tuned for updates This review is for the KTC 24" 1080p TV, model H24V13. All the other reviews for this listing are so far for the far more expensive KTC 27" OLED Gaming Monitor, QHD 2560 x 1440, 240Hz, or, now, several other KTC Monitorsn. Amazon currently has all of these very different KTC TV monitors mashed together into one common Customer Review section. This H24V13 is a bare bones 100Hz VA panel display (VA panels have slightly better black contrast compared to IPS displays, and slightly worse off-center viewing angles) with a single HDMI input plug (and an old fashioned VGA input plug) and built-in speakers. It is about 1-11/16" thick and has mounting holes in the back for a 100x100 mm VESA mount. All the input plugs are at the bottom of the back of the monitor, so the thing can be mounted to the wall, which I intend to do shortly. Unfortunately, the single little 5-direction joystick-like button that controls all the features of the monitor is also on the back of the monitor, so once the monitor is mounted to the wall, the control button will not be accessible. The ONLY reason I got this thing is because I was looking for a 24" TV monitor for my newly installed home security cameras, and this was on a Black Friday sale on Amazon, and it was the absolute cheapest one available. So, a quick search of KTC showed that this is a Shenzhen based multi-billion yuan Chinese company that since 1995 has manufactured TVs and other displays, primarily for other name brand TV and display companies. This TV monitor came with zero instructions, and a card stating that there was a 3-year Warranty.OK, so plugging it in, the thing worked fine. The limited single control button in the back does allow you to change the colors and contrast and lighting density a bit. The picture quality is .... totally adequate for use as a security camera monitor. This isn't the most vibrant TV monitor ever, but hey it only cost $79.99.So, the key here is how long it will last.I'll post back if or when this monitor fails. 2 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid for the price So Amazon had a coupon and prime deal going. I got this monitor (QHD 165Hz MiniLED) for $300 ish.I still need to update the firmware to run vrr and local dimming.I wanted a monitor geared towards movies/series and single player games. I have a lg 1440p ips monitor for competitive games. The good, to me:Solid color calibration out of the boxHDR with local dimming is really niceBlacks are black, really nice compared to my ips monitorSpeakers are solid, I have a sound bar and studio headphone. They are not at that level of course.I cant complain about the refresh rateIs actually a 4k 60hz panel so I can change to that if i wantUSB charges my phone faster than my surge protectorThe bad:Pain I have to update the firmware myself, but who knows when these got stockedSettings are confusing til you understand how it works. Read other reviews to help figure it out.Good amount of clicks to change settings in and out of monitor softwareNot the most slim buildAll and all, for the price I got it for, I am happy. I can deal with the negatives.I enjoy solid budget brands and look forward to them progressing and providing more competition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Monitor I thought 42" would be too big for my desk and I was right, but I have no regrets. I went from a 34" curved ultrawide to this and I am glad I did. I use this monitor for gaming, watching videos, and office work and so far, the monitor does not show any faults (1 wk in). 42" is very big of desktop but I adapted and now am comfortable with this. This actually strains my eyes less than my original 34" VA panel. The color and quality is fantastic. The difference is immediately noticeable going from VA panel to OLED. Even though I gave this 5 stars, there are still minor disappointments:1. Assembly is not painful but not easy, especially when the screws do not match the description. One side of the monitor stand leg is left unscrewed because the holes do not align.2. Built-in speakers are terrible. They sound like cheap computer speakers that sells for $5 a pair. First thing I do is to mute those speakers.3. Monitor defaults at 60hz depending on graphic card. To change this on NVIDIA cards, you need to change the refresh rate in your NVIDIA control panel, or the monitor will be stuck at 60hz.4. Takes about 15 secs to change input from one to another(black screen)5. To wake from sleep mode, it says "press any key". This means any key on the remote control, not your keyboard.Overall, I still enjoy this monitor and had no huge problems with it. Perhaps, I will update as I use it more.EDIT 4/11/2023: Almost a month in and starting to sense more issues on top of all listed above...6. Auto-dimming is annoying when performing day to day work. White Excel spreadsheet will dim the monitor while another program will light the screen.7. Input source switch - the lag (black screen) when you switch from one source to another is inconsistent and long. PC to laptop (DP to HDMI) is about 10 secs while PC to PS5 (DP to HDMI) takes about 45 sec to 60 secs; sometimes, it does not even work.8. No signal found - when the monitor goes into sleep mode after staying on no signal found, it is really hard to wake the monitor up. Once it goes into the all-black screen mode, you cannot change the input source. You have to follow a trick that is fine-lined in the instruction manual to force wake the monitor. At this moment, I am still generally satisfied but that's about all I can accept. 23 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars What I needed but smaller then I thought The KTC 24-inch gaming Monitor is a quite compact and quick monitor. The resolution is as expected (clear enough) and 165Hz refresh rate provides smooth gameplay. The HDR and 125% sRGB color add depth and vibrant colors. It has very sleek bessels which surprised me but smaller then what i thought. The FreeSync and G-Sync support ensure a decent gaming experience. The tilt, VESA compatibility, and eye care features enhance comfort.I personally use it as a side monitor and a as a secondary monitor when playing a racing game. I enjoy the refresh rate and its a good entry level monitor. One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Great overall monitor I decided to get this monitor over an OLED because I use my PC for gaming and productivity work, and OLEDs have problems with text clarity because of the subpixel layout and all that stuff.Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, the monitor works great for my programming tasks and it works great for gaming too, the monitor is so bright that I some times have to squint my eyes, I recently started playing Valkyrie Elysium and it gets so bright some times that I actually need to look away :DI think this monitor is a good product and the price is right.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet Monitor for a Nice Price. PROS: This monitor has good color, brightness, speed, etc. As an OLED, it really kicks the high price IPS monitors to the curb. I love the feature that puts the monitor in sleep mode after a selected number of minutes (or turn this feature off).CONS: I only have two issues. 1) there are two monitors with the same id's. Both say they are 27", but one says 26.5" in the ad, and there other says 27" in the add. I did not notice this until I made the purchase. 2) The message that floats on the screen says to "PRESS ANY KEY" to resume. This does not seem to work on my monitor, and I have to push the control on the back of the monitor (No biggie for me).I am so happy I bought when I did. The monitor price went up by $30 the next day, and continue at the higher price thereafter. I would still have purchased it at the higher prices since it was hundreds lower than other monitors of the same ilk. Look up the manufacturer and you will find these guys may be the OEM of the higher priced monitors. 3 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Terrible customer service and build quality Despite the lack of customer support, I figured out how to turn the monitors off. You just press and hold theb1-button for about 3 secondsI asked twice on Amazon where the power button is located with no response. No matter, I don't think there is one. Stupid of the engineers to not build an on/off switch.I used 2 monitors. Monitor #2 turned off after I was idle too long. Would not wake back up. I pulled the powercord, and put it back. The monitor woke up. Had there been an on/off switch, this wouldn't be so bad. There send you an HDMI cable that's like 3 feet long. How the hell is anyone to use that? That computer is nearly 5-6 feet away from the monitor. They did not send a DisplayPort cable with the monitor. GPU's today have 1 HDMI port. Who are you kidding? The onscreen FPS counter is locked at 165FPS. What BS.Buy cheap monitor, get monitor support I guess. One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Crazy Good Budget Monitor Went all out for my PC specs and was doing some research into decent monitors for a decent price. Had no idea I’d come across this beautiful gem.Installed my graphics monitors and the title lives up to its name, you get 165hz refresh rate and a very nice 1440p image. The monitor interface very easy to use too, just one button behind it controls the settings and acts almost like a joystick. My only gripe is whether or not Nvidia G-sync is an actual thing with this monitor, as I have not noticed any significant difference after enabling it as my build is running a 3090.Otherwise would highly recommend picking this up for the quality of the monitor itself and the price. It’s relatively unlikely you’ll get a deal this good for a starter 2k monitor. Looking forward to what else Key to Combat comes out with.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great screen, bad stand. The good: So fantastic screen, great color and settings righting the box. Really nice price for the definition level. The bad: We had to cut and drill a new metal backing plate, and steal the stand from our old TV. It had angle and height adjustments. This TV’s stand has no adjustments at all and has a strange default angle. If you don’t have fabrication tools, some extra metal, and a spare tv stand, it might not be worth it to some.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bright, easy to use controls I bought three different 24 inch, 165hz, IPS monitors to compare. The KTC H24T09P (this monitor), KOORUI 24E3, and the Lenovo G24-20. I really like the controls on this monitor being a joystick style located on the back, middle, bottom middle, so that adjacent displays interfere with using the controls. The controls were very easy to use and very quick to get to the most useful options, e.g. input, brightness and presets are top level menus. The Lenovo controls are difficult to use buttons on the right back while KOORUI is an easy to use joystick on back, right, bottom. The brightness at full is very nice since my monitors face a window, while the KOORUI was way to dim for me. However, the Lenovo had the highest brightness. For the price, this was the best monitor of the three, but I think that I prefer the image on the Lenovo just a little more. The frame on all three is very similar with a slightly wider frame on the KOORUI (about 1mm). They all have a black border set inside the frame which is about 3/16" while the frame is just 1/16". Viewing angles are good, but the Lenovo has better. The power supply on the KTC and KOORUI is an AC adapter brick that covers the outlet and may block the adjacent outlet on a power strip, while the Lenovo has a bulky PC power cord, but thankfully has no brick, since the AC adapter is built into the monitor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Monitor KTC 32" - model H32S17 I recently purchased the Monitor Model KTC 32" and I must say that it lives up to its advertised features. The monitor has all the capabilities and functionalities that were promised, making it a solid choice for anyone seeking a high-quality display. One thing to note, however, is that accessing some of the advanced features can be a bit tricky initially. For example, in order to activate the HDR and FreeSync functionalities, you need to navigate through the monitor's menu by pressing the button located on the bottom right. That being said, once you do manage to activate HDR and FreeSync, the monitor truly shines. The colors it produces are absolutely stunning, even without HDR enabled. The images are vibrant, crisp, and incredibly lifelike. When HDR is turned on, the monitor takes the visual experience to a whole new level, enhancing the contrast and delivering deeper blacks and brighter highlights.I particularly appreciate the monitor's ability to maintain exceptional color accuracy both with and without HDR. This is a crucial factor for tasks such as photo editing, graphic design, or simply enjoying multimedia content. (I play Warzone and it's amazing)The color representation is accurate and true to life, making every image and video appear breathtakingly immersive.Overall, despite the slight inconvenience of accessing certain features through the monitor's menu, this monitor is an excellent choice for those who value stunning visuals. Its amazing color reproduction, both with and without HDR, elevates the viewing experience and ensures that you won't miss out on any visual details. Once you've taken the time to set it up correctly, this monitor will undoubtedly provide you with a visually captivating and enjoyable experience.Hope this can help you decide if it's for you or not. 7 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Not g sync compatible Overall a good monitor for the price. Very good colors… not sure it is hdr but looks good. Only down side is that is not gsync compatible as advertised. 4.0 out of 5 stars Ideal for HDR gaming, ok for desktop Plusses- It truly is HDR1000, it gets blindingly bright, brighter than most OLEDs I've seen The contrast is very good as well, it can quite dark albeit with some crushing, but only in the very darkest areas. Overall an excellent HDR imageMinuses - The OSD doesn't offer much for fine tuning the image in HDR except for sharpness and black balance. For desktop use its OK, but being a VA panel means off angles are not great, and depending on the background, you might notice it being slightly darker in front of you than the rest of the screen. As a main monitor, looking at it straight on in the best case scenario, it actually looks pretty good One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Great monitor from a unheard of brand This is a great monitor from a brand I have never heard of!Pros (1) There is very little ghosting (and it has overdrive settings).(2) great sharpness (its 1440p).(3) It is actually 170 HZ, not 165, so that is a small bonus of 5 HZ, making for a great gaming display and really smooth.(4) Good colors, but not as good as a Dell 1080p 144hz monitor that I have, but better than an AOPEN monitor that I have.(5) I love the curve; it's not that noticeable, but it is nice.(6) The OS is really good, and you control everything via a single joystick on the back (great job on that, btw, KTC), and I like the OS it's easy to use and you can do a lot.cons(1) The marketing is weird for this monitor; it says that it is a HVA panel type, but what is that? There is like no info online that I can find about it. What I can tell you is that it is virtually like a VA panel type. It acts the same, like the viewing angles are not as good as my other two IPS panels but way better than a TN for example, and it does not bother me at all, as well as having black things on the screen fading when moving quickly and such, but it is not very noticeable unless you are nitpicking or trying to see it. I wish that they had said it was a VA panel or given more information about the panel type.(2) This is really just nitpicking at this point, but the borders around the whole display are a tad bit thicker than my other monitors.(3) The colors are great but not fantastic, so if you are working with color-sensitive stuff, maybe skip this one.Over all, I really like this monitor, and I highly recommend it, coming from someone who loves gaming and is a programmer. Great job, KTC!I will post some pictures the middle one is the KTC monitor 8 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Best value monitor for xbox Competes with the Benq Howie $450. For a faction of the cost a must buy. One slight down side, the blacks are very good but not the best. I turn the bightness up any ways lol for games like COD…… would buy again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great monitor! Ultrawide it is not. So like my title says, I love it, so far, its great, its vibrant, the menus easy to navigate all that good stuff. connected it up, worked right out of the box. Definitely satisfied with my purchase, i got it for 250ish while it was on sale. That being said, the name "KTC 32 inch Curved gaming monitor" Ultrawide, is not accurate. this is a regular 16:9 monitor. Don't get me wrong thats perfectly fine for me. But it is not Ultrawide. Ultrawide is 21:9. now this thing can do it if you set the resolution that way, but it cuts down the top and bottom screen area of viewing. So if you are looking for an actual ultrawide, go somewhere else. The 32" does have the freesync/g-sync so thats awesome! My only other gripe with it is this. the screen from corner to corner is not a full screen, it has black lines aside from the monitors frame. and its only along the top and left and right side. The whole viewing screen at the bottom though goes to the frame. but along the top, right, and left side there is this "Frame" so to speak along the screen that outlines the pixels. its easier to see for yourself. So i included pictures. They aren't dead pixels at all. its just weird cause none of my other monitors have this kind of thing on their screens. It doesn't take anything away from me at all. there is no lost picture or anything. its just kind of weird and i know some people want panel to panel active screen. which this isn'tIll update if things change. Its definitely worth the money. just don't be fulled by the name. it is not an ultrawide, its resolution is 16:9, not 21:9 10 people found this helpful
