5.0 out of 5 stars Complete package for the whole family and good build quality The media could not be loaded. So this is actually a large set with four mitts and four separate balls. I was impressed by the quality of this having past experience with others where after you pull the ball off multiple times it will begin separating the velcro piece from the mit itself. It doesn't look like that will happen with this at least not in a short time. Also the balls do not show any immediate separation of fabric. One person found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars Mitts are great, balls might not last long. This four pack tossing game has a strong foundation. The mitts look like they will hold up well. I like the catcher fabric. It seems plastic like and should be easy to clean should sand get on it. Sand doesn’t come out easily of the other sets that use Velcro.The low score is because of the balls. They have two pieces of Velcro tape wrapped around the balls. These pieces of tape aren’t strictly needed. The sides of the balls also stick to the mitt also. The mitt catches the balls perfectly. In one picture, I show how it is hanging on by a few strands of Velcro. It sticks so well on the mitt, it does take some pulling to get the ball off. While I was playing with it, it did seem as though some of the seams could be starting to separate. If played with it too hard, I’m sure the balls will start to come apart. 2 people found this helpful

If the ball hits just the edge, it's a catch.Mitts are thick, not easily bendable and the velcro straps are adjustable for any size hand.I like that 4 people can play at once.The design is nice as well! 2 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun Game To Play With The Kids I thought this would be a fun toy me to interact with our 4 and 1 1/2 year old, both who like to throw but aren't so good at catching yet. This works well. I throw the ball and they delight in catching it on the large mitt and are happy when I maneuver to catch their throw on my mitt. The ball sticks very well and the mitt is large so it is easier to catch their misguided throws.. It takes some strength to pull the ball off the mitt but the 1 1/2 year old manages . Actually, for the little one, putting the ball on the mitt and using his strength to take it off is most of the fun. Simple toy for some family fun.

Also, if you're working on catching the ball with your kiddo, this helps out so much! Definitely a fun family activity that I'd definitely recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic toy for large age range of children and Adults! This set sure came in handy when I had relatives over for Thanksgiving. There were children ranging in age from 3 to 16, and adults of all ages. Everyone took turns using the set and absolutely loved it. It was even doable for the 3 year old who was thrilled she could catch a ball. Towards the end of the day, the family made it down to the beach near our lake and they were still playing with the set. It got a little wet, but dried off like new. I highly recommend this game for a gift or group gatherings.

It has enough catchers and balls for everyone to play, and the Velcro is really strong, I can make end-of-the-mitt catches because of it (and it makes it easier for little ones to catch). 5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Fun For The Whole Family I got this for my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter who loves outdoor activities. This set is perfect for little hands. The paddles (mitts?) are smooth to the touch, but the Velcro balls stick to them with the slightest toss. The straps on the back can be tightened or loosened. It's so fun, because you can do all these crazy catches and still be uncoordinated. It's a great way to engage the whole family, and my granddaughter was able to successfully participate. Wonderful confidence-builder and a fun segue to more serious sports that require eye/hand coordination. Just love the shark face and that it comes as a set for 4 players. When you finish, there's a net bag to keep them all together. Great fun, very sticky and well-made. We had a ball! (No pun intended)

This has been great because not only can my 5 year old play with her big brother, but it makes it much easier for me, too. I love that it comes with 4 paddles because we can all play together.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great "Sticky Catch" Set for Indoor Fun! If you're looking for a way to keep your kids active during the winter, this set from JoyCat is a terrific choice! Unlike many velcro catch sets, this one comes with an ample supply of balls, and four gloves instead of just two. Obviously more kids (or parents!) can have fun at once, but it also offers the opportunity for a two-handed variation and other creative possibilities. The mitts have an adjustable strap, too, to provide a better fit different-sized hands, and the material is thick and a bit cushy for a comfortable fit. Like other JoyCat items I've ordered, it comes in an orange box with a charmingly simple cat illustration and the brand name, making it particularly giftable. A great choice if you're looking for a "sticky catch" set!

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute design and well-made This catch set comes with 4 paddles, 4 balls, and a mesh drawstring carrying bag. The bag is very nice with an easy to use clasp. The mouth of the bag is quite wide, which makes it light work for kiddos to put the set away.The paddles are really well made, and the design is fun; my kids think that the shark is hilarious! The velcro on the paddles is incredibly strong, to the point that we've had issues with them getting stuck to the furniture. This makes play enjoyable for the younger kiddos, because the balls easily stick, even if it's just grazed the edge of the paddle. The handle strap on the back is adjustable and fits all the hands in our family, and it is comfortable to wear.The balls are maybe not the highest quality, but they work well. They squish down a bit, which makes it easier for little kids to grip and rip them off the paddle. I am certain that any tennis-type of ball would work just fine if replacements are needed.Overall, I'm satisfied with the set. My children have been inspired to spend hours and hours playing, which makes it well worth the cost.

He gets to practice his hand-eye coordination, and he builds confidence in his ability to throw/catch. Most importantly...it's really fun! 5.0 out of 5 stars Velcro 4 Mitts with 4 Catch Balls Set The Velcro is very 'sticky' and does a great job of 'catching' the balls. The mitt, although adjustable, is stiff. To capture the ball being thrown, the catcher just holds the mitt out as a target. A decent way to teach a child the idea of catch - practice aim, judge where the ball is going, maneuver to capture the ball, discover reaction time. Teaches taking turns, not all captures will be successful, and you can make up games as there are 4 each of the balls and mitts. A mesh carry bag is included. Great for recreation rooms, backyard, camping. My 33 month old grandson is learning how to 'catch' with me, his grandma. A great time!! One person found this helpful

The balls are soft but firm and stick well to the mitts. My 3 yr. old, her dad, and I had lots of fun over the weekend. My kid loves it.Dislikes: None so far, after 3 days of play.Cost: $24.99 is ok...could be $20 though.

This velcro toss-and-catch ball game gets kids away from their devices or the TV and gets them running around having fun outside! My kids love this, and they'll spend quite a bit of time making up different sets of rules to see who wins with the most points achieved by catching the ball on the velcro mitts.It would also be great for younger kids who don't yet have the dexterity to actually catch a ball. Just a touch with the mitt, and it is "caught"! Velcro on the back side of the mat makes it adjustable for any hand size.I may get another set so more kids can join in the fun, and adults as well! Highly recommended for active play.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for the whole family I got this for my boys (ages 5&7). They love it! They have made so many different games using this toy. It encourages them to get up and play and be active. The Velcro is strong and the toy seems to be very durable. The only thing that is I can really complain about is the mesh bag that comes with it for storage. It gets stuck on the paddles every time you put them in or take them out. They could have found a better way to store the paddles and balls but this is a really small thing.

I have had so many of the hard plastic ones, which break after a good hard throw, and these are lightweight, soft and flexible so they don’t crack, and the Velcro part seems to really be adhered well, so that doesn’t fail quick either. So, I got it. And he and his grandfather played for almost an hour with trick throws both outside - then in my living room without my husband having to run after a ball or a lamp being knocked over. She really was behind her teammates and now she’s above average! She also loves to play catch in the house! The ball is also very soft and will not hurt the kids if they miss it. Great tool and highly recommend it!
