The lights certainly do their job. For a while. For a short while. After a full day of bright-sun charge, I'm lucky if I get 3 hours of light from them during darkness. More typically I get 2 hours before they're too dim to see. Definitely don't expect a full night of light out of them. One person found this helpful

    4.0 out of 5 stars Adequate. They do the job and they are cute but smaller than I expected and that is my bad for not checking the size. Also, they are not super bright but I don’t plan on landing any planes on my sidewalk so along with the lampposts nearby, they provide sufficient lighting for our walkway. Remember, you get what you pay for but overall, I am fine with them and my husband didn’t complain. Just make sure your “installer” knows to turn each one on inside the lid. My husband didn’t and I thought they didn’t work at first. I was about to yank them all out and return them but it was user error. 🙄Men never read instructions. lol 6 people found this helpful

    3.0 out of 5 stars Decent product I went with these lights because they were very affordable for the amount of lights there are. There are a few issues with them. You can count on about 3 hours of sun equating to about 1 hour of light from the lamps and the light they produce is not very bright. These lights also pool water on top of the solar panels causing them to not charge efficiently, and I’d recommend buying some glue or tape to secure the pieces together, I’ve lost 2 to breezy conditions.

The actual lantern part is about the size of the palm of my hand, if not a bit smaller. .I had to return them they looked out of place in my garden. if you possibly had a small little delicate place, you wanted to add extra lights, this would be perfect, it just did not work in my space.. I will add, the company did reach out to me to do what they could to improve my experience. I feel that they are a good business to work with, as their main goal is to have their customers have a positive experience and enjoy the purchases that they make. 14 people found this helpful

    3.0 out of 5 stars I really wanted to love this product I am giving it 3 stars because it is hard to tell where the issue started. ACE Ventura probably delivered this box. The box was smashed and half of the pieces were cracked or broken. Not even superglue would fix them. Interestingly enough, the main box that it came in was intact, but once we opened that, and saw the actual product box inside was all messed up. Perhaps they sent us a box that had been returned? The lid was already opened and it had tape on it...IDK. Items are very delicate and it has tiny plastic tabs on them that keep them together. I don't believe this product - even if not defective - would last over 6 months in the NW this time of the year. Perhaps if you live in a mostly sunny climate, where the folks delivering the boxes are more careful, this will be a good option for you. The positive side of things was that the product had a good return policy. Also, they are very cute lights, super super cute... I really wanted to love this product! One person found this helpful

    5.0 out of 5 stars Tiny little Japanese old-style bamboo-ish houses glowing warmth I absolutely adore these little lantern lights! I think they look like little old-style Japanese bamboo houses with the paper paneling. (Some have called them fairy houses.) I imagine my little villagers living in my solar garden in these cute little homes. I loved them so much I bought another package of 8 and my little solar village has since doubled.These do have the soft white panes and give off a nice lived in appearance at night with the light on. I was worried about that feature just being a photoshopped trick to show that the light was on. (The Walmart brand only had the squared framework and no white panels, so yeah I was a little bit worried about these being the same. Until they arrived and whoo-hoo! Actual white paneling!) So definitely worth the extra money to buy these from Gigalumi rather than Walmart's.These are small and put off a nice friendly light. They aren't bright enough to light your pathways or yard for seeing where you're going. They are a great and stylish yard, garden or path accent decorative feature. Night or day they look beautiful in both. They light up all night with a good charge, usually mine are getting enough sunlight, so no problems with them. Today was a cloudy, rainy day and they're lit up now and going strong.I would suggest, as with installing any solar lights with ground stakes, to dig a hole to plant them in. The plastic on these isn't too strong and would break if you try to just shove them into the ground. I dug my hole deep enough that the lantern sits level on the ground, like a little house would. They sit out there in my garden surrounded by flowers and plants and other solar decoration lighting that look like trees compared in size.The rest is up to your imagination.     3.0 out of 5 stars Great Value - Poor Longevity These lights are a great value for ambient lighting to my front yard. The brightness is just right and it does last a good amount of time if there is enought sunlight during the day. Bought 2 sets of these and have had them since June 2023.Unfortunately, I have a few stop working, even with enought sunlight. It would not turn on. I have yet to try replacing batteries so I will update my review when I do get around trying a solution. Its been only 5 months since I got them and out of 2 sets of twelve. I have 4 lights currently not working and some are showing signs of lower brightness. I am hoping they all just need better batteries that needs to be replaced. As my title says, poor longevity if I already have 4 out of 24 dead. Its been only 5 months.Will try and get the 4 sorted out and hopefully its just some loose connection or just needs better batteries. 11 people found this helpful

Every evening I look outside and there’s this little line of glowing light. They seem to be charging fine, even though they don’t get a lot of light. I've had them over a year, but I put them away in the fall so we really haven't used them long and now 2 lights quit working. I tried replacing the batteries to no avail. I like the look of the lights but if more go out it won't be a very good value in the long run. I gave 3 stars for brightness because they aren't "bright" but they are just right for my purpose. They are accent lighting and I just what I wanted.Sooooo, now I have 4 lights that don't work. Not a good value. Also when you consider the cost of batteries that didn't work it's really not a good value. Perhaps there are better quality solar lights, better to pay more. 12 people found this helpful
