The navigation of the changing from game to game has not well-thought out concept at all. Glad I paid less than $40 for it. I found all types of Mario games to play with the kids, and old Game Boy games I hadn’t played in years.The only down side is that with some games there is a delay in response time between you pushing a button and the character reaction. 2.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality remotes They have a hard time connecting just 6 feet away with direct line of sight. The input delay is probably close to half a second so good luck trying to play Pac-Man. Is it worth the 30 bucks, sure, just good luck with some of the games. Also there are thousands of Japanese only games, so if you don’t speak Japanese, also good luck hahaha it’s fun though.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works as expected The media could not be loaded. I put this in the back of my escalade and I just went through reviews and can't believe people are complaining at this $35 gem. This thing is a retro game fanatics wet dream. Controllers require 2 aaa batteries and I drove to the store popped them in and had it fired up and playing within minutes. I didn't really get to much game play in but I did some street fighter and Mario it works!. Please if you are expecting the emulators to work perfectly just buy a system and game there are glitches but I haven't found anything that does not let me play properly and the system works. 27 people found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars There are multiple versions of firmware There are a LOT of games on this console but it all depends on the downloaded firmware on the stick. 1 version has all the Chinese and Japanese versions of the downloaded games the other has the USA released games and some of the Japanese and Chinese versions of the games. So you might get the game(s) you want but if you can’t read Japanese or Chinese you’d be effed in the “A”I’m wondering if there was a way to download the games onto the stick by attaching it to your PC. Many games are similar by different version and language, but I found about 50 good games to add the favorite list. Well after playing for a bit he clicked on a game and it said to insert a tf card. We unplugged it because it was frozen. My family and I enjoyed hours of playing our favorite throwback games. In my opinion, I think that it was worth the price. I will most likely buy another one.Set Up/Installation: At first I didn't think that it worked at all but I figured out that you have to choose the "PC" input option regardless if you are using it on your tv or laptop for it to play. The buttons on top of the controllers help to navigate the menu. Be patient with the loading because it takes maybe 4-5 minutes for it to load all the games and there are a lot.Audio/Picture Quality: On a few of them the audio and picture quality is a little bit distorted and the controllers lag a bit but that should be expected when converting 80's and 90's system games to fit our flat screens.Other Game Features: I love the fact that you can save your game progress and play later. Use the "Search" feature, it will save you a lot of time with having to go through the long list of games.My Favorite Games I Found: Teen Mutant Ninja Turtles, Wolverine, Super Mario Brothers 1-3, Mortal Kombat, Excite Bike, Galaga, Contra, and Jackal. 26 people found this helpful

1.0 out of 5 stars If I could give it a minus (-) I would . . . BEWARE - Purchased this game as a birthday gift for my 5 year-old great grandson. He was so excited to receive it! They hooked it up to their 32" TV and for about an hour everything was just fine - until the controllers started to heat up. He told his mom who immediately freaked out because they were really HOT and she was concerned that he could have burned himself. My granddaughter called me and told me what happened; not only did the controllers overheat, but somehow it carried over to the TV and it must have overheated as well because it blew out. Now the little guy didn't have a game, OR a TV. I called Amazon who told me you were a third party seller and there was no way to actually discuss this with anyone from your company. I proceeded to order another (what I thought was different) game. This description was and corresponding picture were different, and the price was $20 or so more so I figured it was better and would work. I also had to purchase a new TV because the other one no longer worked. So I ordered the new game and when she received it it was EXACTLY the same item - at least inside the box. We thought it might be ok, thinking the first one was just defective. But Nope - after a few minutes of play it started heating up. Needless to say she unplugged everything and called me. I then called Amazon to report what had occurred. This was a different seller so I thought I would have better luck at speaking with someone - apparently there is no way to do so. 23 people found this helpful

The first one was slow to load games, and this one is NOT. We have not found many games that don't work on this one either. Word to the wise - unplug from the power source after 3 hours or so, the device gets hot, and it WILL fry your TV. It has worked, daily, for a full week now, so regardless of if it breaks again, we've received the rental value. Other games not mentioned in previous review (there are multiple copies/versions of each of these games) - Simcity, Where in the World is Carman Sandiego, Lord of the Rings, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil and so many more. DOWNSIDE - you cannot save progress. You really are taking a trip back in time. If you change to a new game, all progress restarts.(Original Review)Took out of box, plugged in and we were off. Spent hours enjoying Super Mario, Mortal Combat, Zelda, Grand Theft Auto and many other great games. Next day, a random game glitched and screen froze. Unplugged, replugged, now I can't get the power back on... Guess it was fun while it lasted. Considering this was only about $35, it was definitely worth it! The instructions were a little confusing. You do have to have the device plugged in to a power source for it to work. Also, the little receiver chip must be plugged into the game drive for the controllers to pair with it. After the initial setup, it's now just plug and play.Super Mario, Street Fighter, Ms Pacman, The Simpsons, Final Fantasy and so many more games I played growing up.
