5.0 out of 5 stars THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS! My husband and I call this product, "Love Potion Number Nine" (old song from the '60s) because of the effect it has had on our two male cats. We adopted Panther when Tiger was about 9 years old. From day one Panther was challenging Tiger's authority and very aggressive. We weren't sure we could even keep him because he was always attacking poor old Tiger. Within just a couple of weeks it totally calmed him down. Now they actually snuggle together! Tiger didn't know what to think when his former enemy started cuddling up with him. My only negative comment is that the diffuser oil seems to go up onto the wall above where it is plugged in. But it can easily be wiped off. It is worth it to have harmony between our cats. 10 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Lifesaver for senior kitty and me I started using another brand of this diffuser about 5 months ago. My senior kitty who sleeps on my bed began biting me at night in some sort of confusion/agitation. A few times she drew blood so it was a real issue for me. Vet recommended trying it, and within 24 hours of plugging it in I noticed she was yowling less and cleaning herself more often. The biting completely stopped! I switched to Comfort Zone because the price was better, and it's been just as helpful. It has run out a few times without me realizing it, but the return of my cat's needy yowling and biting reminded me to look. Sure enough, within a day after plugging in a new bottle, she returned to her calmer self. I keep it plugged in my bedroom, but she also spends time in the room next door, and I'm convinced it is covering at least that much square feet space if not more. If your cat is having behavior issues, I recommend you give this a try. It's been a game changer for our old girl. 2 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Puts my cats at ease The wall outlets are super easy to put together. I originally thought when purchasing that it was 3 diffusers and 3 bottles, but 6 bottles were included for a resupply. Definitely good bang for your buck compared to many refills to get you started. It took a minute for it to take affect on my cats, but it's started working great. I've had one rowdy young cat that plays too rough for my older one. He's calmed down a bunch since I've gotten these in place along with an extra cat tower. 4 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Helped calm our cats. Mostly. Our cats are very wild together. This product has helped keep them calm. Though it does make it wet above the product on the wall! 3 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfort Zone Multi-Cat Calming Kit Truthfully, I was rather skeptical that this product would be effective. I adopted two male kittens last November who have just turned 6 months old. Their veterinarian would not neuter them until they reached this age and over the past month one of them has started urine marking in the house. They have also started incessant meowing at night and have become more aggressive towards one another. They have an appointment at the end of the month to be fixed, but in the meantime I came across this product and decided to try it. I am happy to say that they are back to being brotherly towards one another and while urine marking is still occurring occasionally, it has drastically reduced. They are much more relaxed and have stopped meowing at night. These results occurred within a few days of plugging these diffusers in. I've plugged them into outlets that have no furniture or other items near them. They are warm to touch, not hot and have not produced any oily residue on the wall, as some other reviews have reported. 3 people found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars Seems to help We have a female spayed cat that has tail issues. At times it seems like to her that her tail is not part of her and she flops it around and attacks it repeatedly. I keep one of these plugged in 24/7 in the area where we have the cat tree and cat toys and it seems to lessen these occurrences. Anything that helps her with this struggle I am thankful for so I'm on the second set. One container lasts just about a month. Heating element/holder has to be replaced after about 5 containers have been run through it. One person found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars One diffuser arrived broken One of the diffusers was broken upon arrival. A piece in the top rattled around and it leaked when I put the bottle in it. The other two did not rattle or leak. Since I was out of refills, I don’t want to hassle with sending everything back to get a replacement. Disappointing because the new design that doesn’t block both plugs of the outlet is very helpful. I can’t say that the stuff makes any difference, as one cat still sprays, but I’ll try it a little longer. One person found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars If it works get it here. If you know this product works for your cat(s) then get it here on amazon. I almost purchased this product at petco and for two of them it was 50 bucks. But on amazon you can get three diffusers and 6 refills for $70. A huge savings!!!! I bought this because my roommate moved in with his cat and needless to say my cat has not taken a liking to the new cat. I was hoping this product would help cause I installed three in our 1100sqft condo. Sadly it does not seem to have provided any relief for her anxiety. This product may have no helped my situation but that doesn't mean it couldn't help yours. 4 people found this helpful

2.0 out of 5 stars On the fence, unknown if this is working. We started using this product in May. It says in the instructions it takes 2 weeks to show any noticeable signs of improvement. It is August and there is no letting up of aggression which is what we bought it for. We introduced new cats. One male, age approx 9 and one female, age approx 2. The female wanted to be friends and the male immediately was aggressive and territorial as per how cats are. We followed Jaxon Galaxy's instructions for introduction of new cats and still have to have the house divided into 2 separate living spaces for them both. It is literally unsafe for the female because the male goes right for her if he gets loose and gets to her side of the house. The vet came out to the house and stated that it was good we were using the diffuser but sometimes cats just do not respond and need more. We are starting them both on kitty Prozac this week and also swapping them out so they can live in the other's living space since they communicate a lot by scent. We realize they may never get along but we hope that they can at least tolerate each other and it be safe to have them in the same room without one trying to literally kill the other. The diffusers just are not cutting it for our kitties. One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars settled down my squirrely new rescue I rescued an older kitten and she was getting into everything and playing rough with my little dog. This product really helped settle her down, and even out her behavior. She's calmer and more appropriate and gentle with my small dog. I have 3 plug ins total (in the main living and sleeping areas). She's not sedated, not sleepy, just calmer and still playful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing! No more cat spraying On January we move to another apartment. I used to have a big problem with one of my cats, she was spraying everywhere. I tried to fix the problem but nothing seemed to work. So, before bringing her here I bought this product. Cats doesn't like new environments or new places to live at. For my surprise they adapted to the new apartment the same day. I kept on watching the one who was spraying and for the last 2 months nothings been happening. No spraying! Surprisedly they are happy, there run around , they sleep comfortably and they are both in a great mood. I noticed after 2 months that now it's almost empty. So here I am ordering it again! 5.0 out of 5 stars Very good for multi-cat homes. This works well for multi-cat homes. I have one alpha male who acts out once in awhile and chases the other cats. I did not see that behavior once these were plugged in. 2 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally something works like it said We inherited a neutered male cat with a spraying problem. We have one other female cat and they do NOT get along. We have lots of space and multiple cat boxes that are cleaned multiple times a week. We tried calming collars but only saw limited improvement. Since we started using the diffusers, we have had NO spraying and kitty conflicts are minimal. We placed a diffuser in the 3 areas where we saw most spraying. We're on our second month now but saw noticeable improvement in the first 2 weeks. Both cats are much more relaxed and sociable. We intend to keep using these diffusers as long as we have cats. Thank you for a product that lived up to expectations! 2 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Arrived quickly I use this in tandem with "TriOak 4 Pack Calming Collar for Cats" to transition my adult cat from moving from a quiet apartment with 2 adults to a large house bursting with adults and boisterous children. He was only frightened and hiding for one day and then came out to tentatively explore. He's even to the point of loving & cuddling with almost everyone else, except for the 8 &3 year old kids. It's only been a little over a week now and he tolerates those two & I think he may eventually warm to their exuberance. I plan on keeping up this regimen for a couple of months until he's fully acclimated. 2 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Game changer I have 2 kittens (6 months) and an older 3 year old cat. One of the kittens kept using the bathroom on the floor vice in the litter box. I tried many different kinds of litter and litter boxes but it didn't work. We were considering taking her to a no kill shelter. Our vet recommended this product. At first nothing changed. It took about 2 weeks before we noticed a change (subtle at first and increasingly better). It's been about three months now and she has been using the litter box instead of the floor. Once I let one of the diffusers run out and the behavior started again so I have to ensure they always have something in them. I have 3 diffusers and only put them in the area she was messing up. All cats are different but this was a game changer for us because now we can keep our beloved kitten! I think it's a little pricey but worth it in this case. 3 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars They changed the design I have been using this brand for about 2 years, if not longer. I've noticed that the new plug design now leaves a residue up the wall. They work for my two cats that stopped getting along but not happy about the mess they are making. I still have some of the old plugs and use them without issue. 15 people found this helpful

2.0 out of 5 stars defect? potential fire hazard! The media could not be loaded. my cat has anxiety at night and yowls for hours. nothing we’ve done has helped this so as a last resort i tried this product. took about a month to really see results but he now sleeps with us mostly through the night.i bought this in July, it’s now October. i’ve changed the refill twice since i’ve had it (which seems normal to me) but it started smoking all of a sudden a couple days ago. The smoke wasn’t super obvious and we initially didn’t know where it was coming from so it took a while to hone in on the source and sure enough this product was the culprit. The refill portion still has product inside, nothing seems to be outrageously warm so I’m not sure what’s going on. Would be curious to know if other have noticed this problem and if there is a different product you’ve tried. Since we unplugged the device our cat has gone back to howling around the house at night, pulling hair, and biting hands that wont let him through the night. Unfortunate. 6 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars It seems like they work! I have 2 cats that I adopted at older ages. My first had bad separation anxiety and I got the second one thinking that would help and they didn’t get along well at first. Not horrible fighting but one would chase the other around and the other would hide a lot and started peeing out of the box. I plugged these in and after a week or so I noticed the fighting had gotten way less frequent and since I’ve had them, no more peeing outside the box. There’s no scent or anything but I have one plugged in in every room and I really do think they’ve helped my cats get along and feel comfortable. 5 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars I was skeptical… but after 6 weeks it’s clear these work! If you have 2 cats you probably have one that is super chill and one that is probably a bit more of a jerk. One of our cats has historically only been lovable with our daughter and barely tolerated the rest of us. Being a mischievous cat is one thing but he was skittish around people and in general always darting around. The vet recommended these and I kind of rolled my eyes in my mind. But figured it was worth a shot… I read it can take a few weeks to show effect so I plugged them in and forgot about them. About 2 weeks after plugging them in my husband rubbing on the cats belly (who in the past usually avoided him) he said why is he being so lovable lately? I thought could it be working? For a month he’s been in a great cat mood and hanging out with us all day. Then over the past week we noticed he was getting skittish again… my husband said are those plug things out? Sure enough - time for a refill! So yes they work! Refilled them and now will watch those refills closer! They say one plug covers one room for a month and I would say that matches our experience. 8 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Anxiety Soother: Comfort Zone Diffuser for My Lone Cat's Peace of Mind The Comfort Zone Multi-Cat Diffuser has been a remarkable solution for my anxious cat. While I have only one cat, her anxiety when I leave the house used to be quite noticeable. I've found that using this diffuser when we're away overnight has worked wonders in creating a calmer atmosphere for her. The subtle pheromone release seems to ease her worries, and I've noticed a significant improvement in her demeanor when I return. This personalized approach to addressing her anxiety has made a remarkable difference in her overall well-being, and I'm grateful to have discovered this solution. If you're seeking a way to provide comfort to your cat during your brief absences, the Comfort Zone Multi-Cat Diffuser could be the answer you've been looking for. One person found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars Product works great but the diffuser cartridges leak a lot The product itself works pretty well to smooth over strife between high-strung cats in our household, however, the diffuser cartridges leak so much they actually drip. I've tried tightening them, loosening them, etc. No combination has eliminated the leakage. To be fair, this is a problem with Feliway diffusers/cartridges as well, so I think it might just be a design problem. 2 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars This works !!! We have recently adopted 2 bonded cats that are about a year old. Despite having multiple litter boxes, we had 3 urine accidents in the house. After a trip to the vet to make sure nothing was wrong, the vet felt this was stress to adjusting to a new home causing the urination. She recommended Feliway, but I took a chance on this brand as it was less than half the price of the other brand. This worked like a charm! It is odorless to me, but the cats seem to enjoy it. We have a small house, and I only use one plug in located in the living room. One plug in lasted about 5 weeks, so this 6 pack will last me a long while. I’ve also noticed the cats seem to lay near it, it’s definitely helped them. Highly recommend, this was a lifesaver for us. 3 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Product Purchased this kit to replace a pair of old diffusers. Everything "went together" perfectly and the new diffusers are working just fine. Plus, the price of this kit is MUCH LESS than the "name brand" product, and works just as well!If you have a multi-cat household, this product is a must to help keep them "calm, etc." 10 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Really works We have eleven cats ages one to sixteen and they can become a bit of a handful at times. The older ones want to nap and the younger ones want to zoom over the nap spots. This product has really brought peace to our household! The young ones aren’t as rough with the older ones, allowing calmer nap time and everyone plays more easily. I got the three diffuser with six refill pack and placed them where the kids spend the most time. Highly recommended from a mom of eleven! One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars This Stuff Works! We were on the STRUGGLE BUS hunny trying to integrate two older pets into a new shared household and I believe this stuff really helped calm the room! It's kind of expensive and my partner says it has a bit of a musky smell (that I can't really smell tbh), but I think that might just be the pheromones warming up and doing their thing. We used this product for a few months and then gradually reduced use until everyone was chill and situated.I would absolutely consider giving this a try if you are trying to destress your cat and help create a more calm environment. 8 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Helps calm pacing aggressive cat I have a high energy indoor male neutered cat that has a tendency towards pacing and aggressiveness towards my other male neutered indoor/outdoor cat. He also sometimes sprayed outside the litter box. I’ve tried numerous behavior modifying things and this product is helping a lot and is probably the third most effective thing I’ve used. Number one was to make him a 100% indoor cat. Number two was modifying his feeding routine to be more like a dog - he waits in another room while I prepare it and he must sit and wait before I put it down for him. Those two things resulted in lowering the number of attacks and him not wounding the other cat in his attacks. This pheromone diffuser is what resulted in them snuggling together like they did when they were younger. Not brothers but got them at the same time from a shelter. He hasn’t sprayed in the house since getting the diffuser but that was only happening occasionally so time will tell if it’s helping that. Things aren’t perfect but good enough. Unfortunately people are correct when they say it creates an oily spot on the wall. I use semigloss paint so I can just occasionally wipe it off but I would recommend that you protect the wall in some way unless you have semigloss paint. It doesn’t seem to go on my floor but I have one of those cardboard scratchers on the floor below it just in case. 12 people found this helpful

1.0 out of 5 stars Not sure recieved true product I got a new-to-me 11 yr old kitty, her prior Grandmama also gifted me with the can of spray by Comfort Zone. That spray truly helped kitty adjust more calmly into her new home. Each and every time I sprayed it she would calm down and purr and you could see the content in her eyes. And I could smell it every single time. Unfortunately, it wears off within 4 or 5 hours; and it makes the situation rebound where she's nervous and skittish again. I knew I needed something longer term and the diffuser sounded like an awesome idea. Sold by Fanny Gifts. Ordered 11.04.22 These 2 diffusers were placed approx 20 ft apart, one in the small bedroom and one down the hall.1) These diffusers barely have a scent like the spray, allllmost nothing, to be exact. I SHOULD smell something similar to the single can spray, even slightly. Nope.2) Neither cat reacts to them, notices, or investigates.3) It has been almost 2 weeks, and no change in their behaviour. The hissing aggression continues, until I use the individual spray.4) I bought a different brand of individual spray, it has far less scent; but, still works far better than these dual diffusers. ... Lasts far less than 4-5 hours to make it through the night, though.5) Purchased two other high priced name brand diffusers, and in 24 hours they are far more calm. I sense they will Finally learn to live together. (Will update soon.)Ultimately, I do not understand how the two diffusers aren't the same scent or behavior reaction as the single can spray I received. The only thing I can surmise is that maybe it's watered down or old or some other something something I don't know.I'm still learning about using pheromones, but, the partially used can of spray of this same name brand Truly Does work. Somehow, the diffusers do not.Edited: 12.01.22. One of the units blew my outlet reset. The unit looks fine, unit was warm.... but somehow, it popped. The 2nd unit is still trying, but, ultimately....it is not helping the cats coexist. Will remove and toss for fire safety. 6 people found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars They work well, but one of them smelled like burning plastic, and no reply from seller yet Would be 5 stars except that one of the three had a burning plastic smell and was getting through the oil much faster than the other one. We switched it out and are awaiting a reply from the seller about getting this error amended. These seem to really work. We have a 7yr old female cat and have had her since she was a kitten. About a month ago, we suddenly ended up with an older female kitten (10 months by vet estimate) who was dumped out of a car in our friend's neighborhood. Our older cat was not pleased with the sudden new addition to our studio apartment space, and would barely come down from the top of the fridge to hiss and yowl. Now that we have these going, they are willing to boop snoots with only minimal hissing from our older cat, and they are willing to eat within a foot of each other, and the older cat is comfortable enough to sit with us on the couch. We are seeing progress. And we confirmed that it is the diffusers that are helping because it was pretty hot and we dont have AC so we opened the windows for a few hours, and the cats started having more issues with the older one getting snarly and swatting at the kitten (kitten just wants to play). Shut the windows and things are calmed down again.Picture shows older cat hiding out on top of the fridge. Next picture is them eating together with the help of the calming diffusers. And here she is right now sleeping on my partner's lap even though the kitten is out and about in the room. 12 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Efficient product Bought these plugs because I introduced a new cat to my already co existing cat home, but had my doubts... They did not get along very well, screaming and hissing at each other all day and nights and fighting over furniture. In short, these worked great and the yowling and hissing completely stopped within 2 weeks! (Note: remember that not all cats are the same or will change their behavior at all!) I can confirm my cats are best buds now and they are living proof for the efficiency of this product; however... the plugs came in very oily out of the packaging and made it a difficult hassle to plug it in my outlets. I had to throw one away because it had a crack and leaked all over my wall. Every other day I would find that it fell out, so I would take the time to put it in a position that worked. Otherwise, great product! I am pleased to say it actually worked!! 9 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfort Zone actually WORKS!!! I love how you have to screw in this product to its base. It hasn't leaked . I have two 4 year old male cats and brought two 6 month olds m/f liter mates into the mix. Comfort Zone made the process better. I bought the 6 pack with plugs and a box of just replacements. Less, expensive as feliway and definitely works. They actually last the whole 30 days!!! I highly recommend Comfort Zone. 2 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Happy Family! I think this is the only review I’ve ever written, but I am sooooo thankful for this product. I have two 9 year old kitties who I adopted one week apart when they were 11 and 12 weeks old. They’ve been best friends since the day they met, but Lotus (female) has never been much of a playmate for Maceo (male) who basically tortures me every hour that I’m home and not giving him my fullest attention. Since I started working from home full time, I’ve been telling Maceo I would get him a baby brother to play with. A week ago, I brought home said baby brother (Louie) - a 10 week old idiot who is ruining our lives in the best possible way. He is a hell raiser!! Lotus spent the first few days hissing at him nonstop and Maceo tried to make friends, but could not understand why Louie kept jumping at his face and why Lotus was also mad at him when he had nothing to do with any of it. When Maceo started sleeping all day, stopped eating, and didn’t want much to do with me, I was devastated, so worried about him, and afraid I might need to take Louie back to the shelter even though I had already fallen in love with this little bundle of nonsense. Enter Feliway diffusers. One week after I brought Louie home, Amazon delivered three diffusers and the change happened within a matter of hours. Lotus has calmed down substantially - she still hisses at both of them occasionally, but they’re all so much better! Maceo has started eating healthily again and wants me to hold him and snuggle like he did before Louie came to live with us. The first night, they all sat on the couch with me and I even got a shot of Louie’s little paws on Lotus’ back and she didn’t swat him away! The second night, all three of them played together with the same toy for at least an hour. Amazing progress after how grumpy the older babies have been. I hope to see Maceo and Louie snuggling and playing together one day soon (I think they will if Lotus continues to calm down), but this has been a lifesaver just for the fact that Maceo is eating again. I’m watching the diffusers for leaking/any other problems as described in the other reviews, but I haven’t noticed any problems yet and if all this does is get us over this new baby hump, it’s the best $58 I’ve ever spent!! Thank you Feliway! Here’s to a happy family! 6 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars If your kittens are chewing on each other's whiskers I have two kitten who are approximately 5 months and 10 months old, who are inseparable at this point. They rough house and play eat sleep and groom each other. But I noticed that they also were chewing on each other's whiskers. A common thing for mother cats to do when kittens are young to help keep them close. My 1 year old cat and my senior cat both to be doing well from the diffuser. They are both playing more and sleeping better. We have had the diffusers in 2 areas where they commonly play and their whiskers are finally growing back. I will be purchasing refills and probably more diffusers. 2 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars OMG - Total Gamechanger! Super easy to set up and only took a few minutes to take effect. I have three new kittens to introduce to my two senior cats, one who is extra spicy and the other who doesn’t care to have any other cat exist in her space. Before Feliway, Ms. Spice would hiss and growl with every fiber of her being and throw an absolute fit whenever she was in the vicinity of the kitten room. Within minutes of plugging in a Feliway in the living room and another in the upstairs hallway, the hisses and gut growls were exchanged for a side flop, disappointed tail thwack, and a huff of annoyance. What a world of difference!!Obviously still a ways to go for kitten introduction, but what felt impossible after two weeks of scent swapping, now feels like a probable success story! Will absolutely continue to invest in more refills. 5 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Working quickly with feral cat with no adverse issues It is working and i can see the change in behavior of my feral momma foster within a few days. she is fearful of me but i have a motion activated camera that catches her activity. she has not been crying as she did prior, she is playing w toys, using litter box when i prior was peeing on fabric. I have caught her smelling it as well. no residue. no overheating issues. only reason for 4 not 5 stars is the cost. Glad i purchased 5 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Usually works well in beginning, effects fade over time My vet’s office has these plugged in above every exam table and my cats have never been more relaxed and docile at exams before. I started using them at home years ago after my orange boi had his first round of cystitis. Initially, they worked really well. I wrote the date I installed them on both the diffuser and the refill so I’d know when to change them. However, after a couple of years of running three of them at a time (in less than 700sq feet), I realized they no longer had the same efficacy. They also have a tendency to get really messy, especially if you plug anything in above it. That oil gets on everything next to it).I now only use them for short periods of intense stress, like moving or during cystitis flare ups. There’s a noticeable improvement when using them that way, at least for the first few weeks. After a few months, I don’t notice any improvement at all.Unnecessary side note: I did use these when I lived with my ex years ago. One day, I got home a little bit earlier than he did after work. Changed out the oil cartridge, but other than that, did absolutely nothing else. He came home maybe 30m after I did so and remarked on how “fresh” everything smelled, he thought I had cleaned up lol so apparently it also works on moderately feral, now ex-boyfriends. YMMV :) 103 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, but.... I bought this hoping that it would help my bombay cat with hid anxiety, and spraying, and it has. His personality is way different after 2 weeks . He has completely stopped spraying, he no longer cares if the dogs are playing around him, he started laying with and playing with the other cats in the house. There was a small hiccup in the beginning.. I plugged in all 3 and hoped that they would work, all towards the back of my house.. with in 2 days he had severe heart pounding.. after a ton of research and a vet visit later, figured out that they were plugged in to close together ( one in the bedroom, hallway, and entry way ) . I spaced them out farther throughout the house and he is doing great. So just be careful when placing these to close together. This product DOES WORK !! 17 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Helps reduce fighting! First, you're going to find mixed ratings because what works for one cat, may not work for another. The only way to know if this will help your household is to try it.I have a tortie who constantly licks her belly as a soothing measure for anxiety. She has no fur on her belly and hasn't for years. A year ago we brought in a stray who was attacked and needed medical care for his eye. We then got him neutered, tested for diseases and kept him. He and my other cat his age are best friends. The tortie hates him and they fought. So we keep them separated when we're not home and keep the squirt bottle handy when they're free.I initially tried the more expensive brand of plug which didn't seem to help. Tried 2 varieties. Then I tried this one. My tortie still licks her belly. Jakey still makes warning noises at her. But he doesn't attack her. I still don't leave them out together when no one is home.I also don't leave these plugged in when I'm not home because they get warm- hot.But they do work. I had forgotten to plug the one in upstairs in Jakeys room for several nights. And he started going after her again. I've been more careful about keeping them plugged in when we're home and he is back to a few warning noises but no attacking. For me, it does what it needs to do. I only wish it worked without being plugged in. But I tried Feliway spray but that didn't help (my cats). 6 people found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars I can’t tell if it’s working I live in a multi cat household. My roommates cat was recently introduced and the problems started. My cats and the new cat are now getting in little fights and began marking. It has been a nightmare. I bought these and placed them in every room the cats frequent. I think there has been a slight decrease in fights, but the marking did not get better. They literally urinated right next to two of these.I wanted to state I have 3 litter robots and 1 traditional litter box, all get cleaned frequently. This was never a problem before the new cat. These aren’t working for me.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good customer service I bought the 3 pack diffuser with re- fill pack. I installed the right away. It was approaching the 30th day and was checking and replacing. I noticed that the wall around the last diffuser was covered with drips and there was pooling on the baseboard. I called Customer service and was able to get right thru to a technician. I explained my situation, he told me the combination of household products to use to clean the wall. He apologized for the defective wall unit and took all my information. He sent me an email for me to send pictures of the wall and upc code from the box. He assured me he would be sending a replacement, and to expect it in 7-10 days! So far the product seems to be helping clam our cats! One person found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars Works great for cat behavior, but be aware of the messy residue I have been using this product for about 3 years and have been very happy with it. My cat is much calmer and happier and it's very easy to use. The problem is that the most recent version of the diffuser leaves a nasty residue on the wall and anything directly above the diffuser. It ruined my under cabinet lighting as the residue made it fall off so now I have to get that fixed. The residue on a shelf 3 feet above the diffuser was literally dripping onto the floor below it. I emailed the company and asked if there was a fix and they just said this is a problem with the newer diffusers, but they had no comment on whether it will be fixed at some point. I'm going to switch to Feliway to see if it's better even though it's more expensive because it's not worth it if my walls or anything else gets ruined. 13 people found this helpful

1.0 out of 5 stars Beware! Comfort Zone product caused respitory issues in an otherwise healthy adult cat. We purchased the Comfort Zone multi-cat diffuser value kit (3 diffusers and 3 bottles of product). We presumed that this would be like-in-kind to Feliway in terms of is safety and efficacy. Our vet uses Feliway, but I decided I would try and save some money by purchasing this product instead. Big mistake! I placed the 3 diffusers in seperate areas of a two stroy 2,600 sq. ft. home (2 downstairs, 1 upstairs). First thing I noticed was a film on the wall above the diffuser, approx. 3 feet by 6 inches, after having them plugged in for a full day. On day 4, out of the blue, an otherwise healthy adult cat of our who has a perch she sleeps on near one of the diffusers, started to stumble and she seemed to have some type of seizure. We rushed her to the Vet and they were not able to determine the cause, but were able to get her normalized after an IV and sedative. That emergency vet experience cost our family almost $400. I immediately unplugged all three diffusers after we got back home. The cat is now fine, it is almost two weeks now since and she is completely back to normal. The only change to our home was adding the Comfort Zone diffusers. If you are going to use this type of product, I would recommend going with the Feliway product (its the one the Vets use!) 4 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Seems to work, though hard to tell how truly effective or for how long. I recently took in a new young female cat and my older male cat who has been a single cat for most of his life seems to just want to avoid her for the most part. But she's a little playful and became protective of me and the food, litter, and most of the common rooms. They really haven't fought, but there is tension and anxiety for my poor old man. I bought these pheremone diffusers at a local store and they're very expensive, but it seems like the tension eased shortly after plugging one in near the food area. I decided to buy this multi-pack and put a few throughout the house. There hasn't been any fighting, or overly aggressive behavior, though they're certainly not best friends or anything. I do believe these have helped ease the transition into familiarity enough that I may only need one upstairs and one downstairs and maybe ease off all together by the time this multi-pack runs out.

3.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't really work I bought it to try to make peace between two of my cats. I have several of them throughout the house, most in the rooms where they both hang out. One female is still spraying the walls to make a point (nothing physically wrong with her, I've checked with the vet who says vertical spraying is behavioral) and they still fight constantly. I haven't really seen that this makes any difference at all. Might work on some cats, but it sure doesn't work on mine! One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't live without these—a multi-animal household This product truly soothes the savage, cranky cat souls. In our household of 4 cats and 2 dogs, this is an essential tool to keep humans and the other animals all sane. We hadn't intended to have 4 cats, but the Great Recession with its evictions resulted in our gathering extras. Our local animal shelter was destroying most cats and kittens for several years there, so taking the neighborhood's abandoned animals there was a death sentence. While one cat gets along with the other three, the eldest (now 17) swipes at two of the usurpers. The youngest (a product of an eviction from a nearby rental in 2012) likes to harass all of her elders. Plus she's prone to crystals, so territorial or stress peeing is her go-to expression of frustration. The Comfort Multi-cat Calming pheramones make all the difference. My vet first recommended I try them out. Could not believe how quickly these changed the mood. I'm a bit of a skeptic too. I always know when I need to change the bottle, because the cats get irritable. Though I do mark a reminder every 30 days in my calendar. I just wish they weren't quite so expensive. Note: don't put these in the room where you sleep. I never notice any smell elsewhere, but our bedroom (10x14) is too small to have that concentrated diffusion—I wake up with a headache. Also, for my cranky crowd, I only need one for our large family room. It seems to be enough for the household (single story, 1300 square feet). 4 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars This works great I bought this because suddenly my male and female cats who are both fixed and have been together since before I adopted them started marketing on things throughout the house. I caught my male Ziggy peeing on my husband old shoes and my female peeing on the washable rug by the door, then one or both were peeing outside the litter box, which luckily is in the baseboard and sitting on thick sheet of plastic. Plus my female Willow would hiss at Ziggy whenever he walked near her. Within a few hours all of this stopped. I placed one diffuser in the basement and one in the living room and one in the family room/ kitchen. I am so happy that this is working. I highly recommend it. 3 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars This stuff works miracles with my cats! Our cats have always done well with no problems with aggression, spraying and going in the litter box. Until we rescued another kitten is when the problems started. Our boys eventually calmed down but our girls got so aggressive with the kitten. I was so happy to have found this product because it is what saved my sanity. I use 4 plug-ins in the house and change it out every 3 weeks. If I wait to 4 weeks to change the diffuser my cats start acting out again. It worked so well that we were able to rescue another kitten with no problems at all. When I first purchased these plug-ins it only took 24 hours for my cats to settle down. The girls seemed more calm and the boys were more loving to our new kitten. After one week of using this product my cats both the girls and boys acted just like they did before we got the new kitten. They stopped spraying and used their litter box. We have never had any problems with the diffuser over heating and causing any electrical problems. When I first plug it in it does have a slight plastic like smell but then it disappears. It can get pricy to keep changing the diffusers every 3 weeks but it is well worth the money to keep all of our babies happy. The second kitten we rescued worked out well with our other cats and I believe that is because we were using the diffusers. We also owned birds and I was worried about the diffusers potentially harming them so I did not plug the diffuser close to my birds and have never had a problem. I am a very happy customer and would recommend this item to my fellow cat owners. 7 people found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars Caution says "Avoid breathing vapors" I did not use this because the inside cautionary instructions say it may be fatal if "enters airways". It also says "Avoid breathing vapors". It also says "Causes skin irritation". I have asthma so I'm not going to risk it. I noticed many calming products have some reports of allergic reactions for either the cats (collars) or humans in the household (sprays, diffusers). I appreciate all the reviews! 8 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Stopped post-move anxiety in my cat I bought this in sheer desperation after a cross-country move with my cat. He’s generally a pretty friendly guy and had never peed on anything before. We moved into a new house and he was clearly super anxious and withdrawn, not eating well, very jumpy. I tried calming treats, keeping him in his own room with his toys and bed at first, everything. Nothing worked. I bought these diffusers after his second time peeing in and destroying a $300 suitcase in one week. Plugged them in, didn’t expect much. Within about a half hour he came out to hang out with us and within the same day he was back to his old self. Ate all his dinner, started socializing with us again, and has not peed on anything since. They may not work for all cats, but definitely worth a shot if you’re at your wit’s end like I was. I wish they had a version of this for humans, lol. 16 people found this helpful
