5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite Cat Fountain by far (owned 3 other highly recommended fountains in the past) I've been using this Cat Water Fountain for a month now and my experience with it has been very positive. I've owned multiple Cat fountains in the past but this is by far my favorite. First and foremost, my cats have always drank from all these fountains without issues and where I find improvement in this fountain is for my own maintenance/usage.Cleaning the fountain is so easy. It's a few pieces to disassemble: top piece, filter, sponge filter, and bottom tank. It takes absolutely no time at all to open and clean it, replace the filter, fill it it with water, and get it using again. With other fountains I've used, I've run into things that were very frustrating: getting the alignment for the pump to the top piece so it can pump water, or cleaning inside of a closed water reservoir, or just cleaning the tank / top reservoir itself, etc.Another additional thing I really like about this fountain is how much quieter it is. The pump and the water fountain splash is extremely quiet. I could hear all my past fountains before and this fountain is near silent; I would say that I can't hear the fountain until I'm about 5 feet away over regular ambient noise.Filters are easy to replace which is a plus. I just soak the replacement filter before i start cleaning the tank and by the time I'm done cleaning it out about 4-5 minutes later, I can immediately put in the new filter without wasting more time.Perhaps the only thing I'm concerned about is if/when I need to replace the pump. I'm anticipating for the pump to fail at some point (as all pumps do) and I don't think a replacement pump is available. The fountain is cheap enough that I could replace the whole tank but I'd like to save money if possible when the pump will eventually fail. With that said, replacing the pumps on 2 of my previous cat fountains were almost the same cost as this entire fountain, so it's almost a moot point on cost.All in all, I'm very happy to endorse this water fountain.The only thing that I would like is t 3 people found this helpful

I bought this for my 15 year old shih tzu as his cataract is preventing him from seeing very well, so I liked the idea of the sound of running water, plus the filter, etc. The package came the next day. I was so impressed. However. It was missing the “T” and extra sponges and filters I ordered. My baby loves it so I didn’t want to send the entire fountain back, so instead I called the company and they were INCREDIBLY apologetic and understanding. They immediately sent out the missing pieces and even extra filters and sponges. Simply to make up for the inconvenience. That package arrived within 48 hours. You don’t often come across companies anymore that care this way and go above and beyond to make it right. They have a customer for life now with me!

I previously used other popular fountains (Catit, Petsafe, etc.), and found that these fountains would get noisy when the water was low and struggled to keep debris (and bugs!) out of the water and quickly got slimy and gross.This design of this fountain does a number of things very well:(1) Water stays clean - Water only returns to the main tank through a small slit in the top, which then forces the water through the filter. This makes it very difficult for anything to get in the main tank. Hair and other things will occasionally make it through, but only in small amounts, and the filter still cleans water as it passes through.(2) Pump stays clean - The pump is suspended above the bottom of the tank by the top of the fountain and it comes with a foam filter that wraps around the entire pump. The pump also has an easy-to-open door to the interior chamber (unlike many square pumps that are a huge pain to pry open). This makes the pump easier to clean, though in truth I find it rarely needs much cleaning due to the foam ring that wraps around the entire fountain to keep hair and debris out of the pump.(3) Steel is easy to clean - Unlike many plastic fountains that tend to hold onto deposits over time, you can almost always remove any hard water residue from stainless steel with steel wool and maybe a touch of vinegar. I've only seen hard water residue appear on the top of the unit on the outer edges despite having very hard water, and this is likely due to how water is forced through the filter (see (1) above).(4) Extremely quiet - At this moment, the pump appears to be a little less than half full and I am about 10 feet away. I couldn't actually tell if the faint humming in the background was the fridge or the pump, but I can't hear either one since the AC kicked on. When the tank is low, the humming is a bit more noticeable, though the sound of water dropping into the tank itself is louder than the pump. I'm pretty ADHD so background noises like that irritate me, but thankfully this pump reduces that noise better than any pump I've had previously.(5) Large capacity - I have two "normal" sized cats and a 20 lb dog, and I find a full tank lasts me 2-3 days before the sound of the water dropping gets me to refill it, and because the fountain is so good at keeping the water and tank clean, I can refill it 1-2 times before I need to give it a deep clean. The top of the fountain also holds quite a bit of water, so animals that would rather drink from a pool instead of a pouring fountain can do so with ease even with the top attachment in place that streams out water to both sides. 39 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Great fountain for multiple pets I have 3 cats, and it seems that every fountain gets dirty immediately. I love that this has a lid, so that the water stays cleaner longer. It's also easy to check on the water level to refill as necessary. It's quiet, and the cats use it. All the parts can be taken apart and placed in the dishwasher. Maybe my only complaint is that because the fountain is closed, it can be hard to see how dirty it is. I will definitely be buying these fountains for my cats in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fountain I have tried several different types of fountains. Stainless steel has been important to keeping it clean long term. Plastic molded pieces just aren’t easy to keep clean as the stainless steel pieces. This one is very easy to clean as most of it is stainless steel and the plastic pieces do not have rough edges left from molding (creation). Additionally pump is much easier to service than my last fountain. No complaints after several months of use.

I bought the first one as a gift for my mother and bought this for myself after the pump on my old one stopped working. It arrived missing the water spout so I emailed the company over the weekend. They responded that same day and have already shipped me the part. That’s amazing and I truly appreciate the quick response and action.The fountain itself is great. I love that I can see the water level easily, it holds a perfect amount of water, it’s easy to clean (and comes with a little brush to get in the nooks and crannies) and it’s quiet. 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent water fountain for my dogs This fountain was so easy to assemble and it’s very attractive to have in my kitchen. I love that it’s stainless steel so it doesn’t have the plastic odor that we’ve had in the past. The light is a great way to monitor the water and fill up is very easy. My 2 dogs were very intrigued at first and the blue light made them wary at first but they love the water flow and were both drinking at the same time. It is extremely quiet too - in fact, there is no noise at all. Cleaning the pump is easy and having the sponges and filters ensures that the water stays clean. 4.0 out of 5 stars They sent a replacement pump. Update 2: I emailed the company explaining that the pump failed and a rep named Emily sent a video about cleaning the pump. I wrote back that cleaning was not the issue. She ordered a replacement pump that arrived quickly and has a two year warranty. So I am satisfied.Note: In the sales pitch it says the tank capacity means it only needs refilling bi-weekly. We have three cats and I refill it weekly.Update: A hair over three months after we got it, it just stopped pumping. The light is still on. It was great until today and the cats loved it. Now I have to explore getting a replacement pump from the company.I can put the bowl and tray in the top rack of the dishwasher and the motor is easy to clean by hand. The motor isn't affixed permanently to the unit so it is replaceable, should it ever stop working. It's quiet. The company maintains contact with you as a buyer. This is an upgrade on a plastic Catit fountain that died after three years. I made the right choice in switching.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Fountain This fountain is quiet, the stainless steel is easy to clean, and the lighted window helps you easily see the water level. I don’t recall getting instructions on how to clean the pump. If yours slows down, try this: gently pull the cover off the pump. Using tweezers (and over the counter so you don’t lose it down the drain), pull out the impeller. Use the brush to clean each of the components under running water. Reassemble and you’re good to go.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny! The media could not be loaded. I want to start my review by saying how amazing this company has been. The customer service is Amazing! After purchasing the fountain, I received an email from the company, saying that there’s a possibility that there might be a wrong part in the package, thankfully, there wasn’t but the heads up was greatly appreciated. Then it comes with an 18 month warranty on the pump! Also, I just received an after sales service in the mail for 8 free filters and sponge replacements- which really made me realize how awesome this company is! As for the fountain itself, I have two cats and they both absolutely love it! Neither one of them was drinking enough water, and that always concerned me. Ever since getting this fountain, they both enjoy drinking water! I have noticed while cleaning their litter boxes, that there is a lot more urine because of this. Now that they are staying hydrated and flushing their systems, I believe this fountain will benefit their overall health. Also, because it has two different streams, they can drink from it at the same time. Another thing I really love about this fountain is I no longer have to wash two water bowls and two food bowls in the morning. All I have to worry about is cleaning the fountain every 1 to 2 weeks (the cleaning instructions were so specific & even come with a URL for a video), replacing the sponge & filter, and filling it back up with freshwater. That has been such a relief for me! My cats are drinking a lot now, so occasionally, I walk by a notice of getting low and add some more water in between cleanings to make sure it doesn’t get below the minimum amount mark but that’s OK with me. I also love how it is stainless steel and it’s very appealing to the eye. All in all we are all very happy with this fountain and have recommended it to family and friends. 4.0 out of 5 stars Cats Like it We replaced our old water fountain for this one since we couldn't get the filters anymore. This water fountain has a bigger pump that is attached to the lid vs the tank so there will always be water in the tank even when it appears to have run out because the pump can't reach it. No big deal, you just need to clean the tank, and it likely needs it too. We have soft water, when we fill the water softener or super hard water when we don't. Regardless the pump and the suction cups get slimy and all the tiny groves and cervices are also slimy and need to be scrubbed really well. There are internal parts I can't get to, so I worry how gross they are. Overall it's fine, the older cats drink out of it, I think the liked the bird dispenser better on the old one better because that's where they always drank out of that one, they don't drink out of the dispenser on this one. The new cats don't know the difference.

They were always hard to clean and needed it soo often a water bowl was just easier. I purchased this 3.2L pet fountain hoping to encourage my new male cat to drink more thinking it would eventually make it to my next garage sale but I could not have been more wrong. After using and cleaning it for the past month or two, I’ve found this fountain is by far the best one I have ever purchased. It is so quiet all I can hear is the pleasant sound of trickling water. It’s design makes cleaning it so easy and even more surprising, it truly does not need cleaning more often than every 2 weeks as directed. I’ve never had a fountain that stayed clean as long as it claims until this one. My 3 cats stay hydrated and I couldn’t be happier.

The fountain was easy to assemble and it does not take long to clean. You do have to keep an eye on the fountain to make sure it does not run out of water (it won't shut off automatically) but the window on the front makes monitoring easy.

It's super easy to clean and fill -- MUCH easier than other styles I've had. There are no difficult cracks to try to reach with additional tools. It's sleek and smaller though holds a lot of water. It's quiet. I love the blue backlight to see the water level in the window. I like that there is a filter sponge around the pump in addition to the carbon return filter.I got this to reduce plastic exposure for my cat but still have a fountain. Although the pump and filter housings are plastic, the main parts are metal.Be aware that if the power goes out or if you unplug it, the water will drain into the reservoir and there will be no water in the dish. You will need a backup bowl (which I have additional bowls in other rooms anyway) in case the power goes out. Still give it 5 stars though. 3 people found this helpful

It arrived quicky and this company was very nice and quick to fix my problem.I bought this in June 2023 and I have had this about 7 months now. Overall I loved this fountain, the cats like it to. It's easy to clean and replace filters. But now it has started leaking from the window that shows the water level. it's a slow leak that I'm going to try and fix with some silicone or something, but it shouldn't be leaking less than a year of owning it.

We have two cats, one of which is very reluctant to drink water and this fountain has helped entice him to meet his hydration levels. It blinks when the water is running low to help remind us and easy to clean. Also, love that it's entirely stainless steel. We've had it for almost a year now and haven't had any issues.

It took a day or two for my cats to get used to it but they love it now and I feel like they drink more water than they used to which is good for their kidneys and so they’ll stay hydrated.

Well, it stopped holding the water. I started searching and found a plastic fountain similar to this one. It died in a couple of weeks so I returned it. Fortunately, Amazon was having its Prime Day Deals and I found this one, complete with outstanding reviews, so I ordered it. I am amazed at how easy it is to clean! My previous one took about 45 minutes once a week. This one is so easy. I change the water every other day and wash off the two filters. It is that easy. Once a month I remove the cover of the motor and clean it, which takes a couple of minutes.My pets did not take to the stainless steel immediately. I worried that they wouldn't ever use it. Eventually, after a few days, they started drinking and I started having to add to the fountain every day or two. Now, I see them enjoying it all the time!! I'm very pleased with this fountain. So, why did I deduct one star? My "deal" wasn't as much of a deal as I thought. When I looked at the order, prior to writing this review, I clicked on the fountain to see what was said again. There it was, the same "deal" price as on Amazon Prime Day!! That really disappointed me. Why does Amazon raise prices to lower them for Prime Day??? The fountain is wonderful and I hate to lower their rating, but Amazon needs to take note of this practice and know that purchasers do notice it!! 4.0 out of 5 stars Capacity is limited by min level of water Let's set things straight, this fountain is QUIET, like seriously, I can't even tell it's on, don't hear a thing, which is wonderful. Also, the pump is sturdy and well built and gives me confidence it won't be breaking any time soon. But, at the same time, the size of the pump requires 1/3 of water in the reservoir to work properly. So the "large capacity" of the tank, for the purposes of drinking/usable water, becomes 2/3 which ends up being the same size as regular fountains. With 2 cats, a freshly cleaned, filled fountain lasts 2 days and I have to refill regularly. Also, filters get dirty faster than the previous fountain. I'd assume it's due to the small size, which means a bit more $$$ spent on filters. Cats love it though, and silence is gold One person found this helpful

I have had others (top brands and not cheap) that were so difficult to assemble and clean. Filters are easy, motor is easy to replace the filter, smaller filer on the top is easy to replace. Very easy to clean. Love the water level in the front. I have 3 fur-babies. One LOVES the flowing water, the other two drink out of the reserve. One LOVES to drop her toys and kibbles into the water, which requires cleaning and replacing filters - so easy to deal with now. LOVE this fountain - I actually have 2 of them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kitties LOVE this! This is by far the best item I've purchased this year for my kitties! I have a few ranging from 9 mos to 16 years old. The youngest could not wait to try it out, they jumped right in for a drink. The older ones took their time, but by the end of the day i caught them sneaking sips. This seems of good quality, it's stainless steel and a good size reservoir to last days and days before a change is needed. I love the window and backlight to easily show the water level. The filter is working great and keeps all the hair and debris out of the top tray, so no need to constantly clean it out like the ceramic bowls I was using previously. A game changer in our household and much healthier to keep kitties kidneys happy! I recommend this fountain and woukd definitely buy it again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Stays clean! No gunk! I’ve had multiple plastic fountains over the years. And each has the same issue. Black gunk builds up in time and eventually fouls the pump. I let this fountain go without cleaning for the month that I’ve had it. I opened it up to clean and…..lo and behold…..it was gunk free! There was fur on the filter (expected) and some in the water, but nothing had else was gunked up at all! I washed the reservoir out, filled it up with fresh water, and we were back to business as usual. My cats are happy, I’m happy! One other thing to note, the top of the fountain where the water collects before draining and recirculating, had a nice edge around it that keeps the water at bay. When filling by pouring water from the top, the water drains quickly with no worries about overflowing. I highly recommend this water fountain.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Upgrade for Me! I purchased this product that replaced another fountain I owned. Unfortunately, the motor on the older fountain had to be replaced four times in two years; so this time I decided to purchase an entire new set.The machine is extremely quiet, in fact, I do not hear it at all. I also like the added filter layers as compared to my older machine as it keeps the water cleaner for longer. The light and small window also help you to see when water needs to be added.Though a bit smaller than I expected, it is still a perfect size for my two Bichons!

After doing research and reading product reviews, I chose to buy this one. I love how much water it holds. My 3 cats took to it fast and love it. I also bought extra filters.

5.0 out of 5 stars The cats love it! We bought this fountain to replace an old plastic fountain that we bought a decade ago and that failed after many years of use-- this is a huge improvement! Very quiet, filter system is great, particularly with two Maine Coons, we don't have fur clogging up the pump. It's extremely easy to clean and fill. Most of all, the cats were a little freaked out by it at first, but now they love it! We all like it so much that we're replacing a second old plastic fountain with another one of these. The design and simplicity here is much better than the fountains of a decade ago.

I have used many fountains over the last decade, always trying to find a low maintenance cleaning one that still gives enough of a running water stream to satisfy my cats desire to drink from the faucet. This one has been great for the volume of water it holds and very easy to clean. The pump is not hard to take apart, unlike many of the others. The window view allows easy assessment to refill.The customer service has also been very responsive! After about 5 months, mine developed a small leak at the window viewer so I contacted customer service and they immediately resolved the issue. They also followed up several times to make sure I was satisfied. They clearly take pride in their business. One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Makes all my pets happy and health So when I first received this item I thought the LED light was broken. It so happens to have been spun 180° from the window. After rotating the light it has performed flawlessly. Stainless Steel makes it easy to clean and the filter kits do a great job. I wish they made even a bigger size as my Dane wipes out the water level in a blink of an eye( in all fairness I purchased this for the cat and 2 dachshunds that we share our abode with). The pump is amazingly robust and quiet having been left to gurgle on more that one occasion. A request would be a brighter light as its hard to see the water level in the daytime. Other wise would recommend this to anyone interested in a healthy way to give your pets water. One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy Setup and Cat Approved I’ve had this product for less than 24 hours and so far, I’m really happy with it. The instructions were easy to follow, making setting up the fountain quite simple - maybe less than 10 minutes, but only because you have to soak the filter for five minutes. I really like the clean stainless steel look, and I can’t hear the motor at all, which is a big plus. My cat was instantly curious when I first set it up, and he was sniffing all around it. He’s drank from it several times in a short period, which is more than what I observed from just a bowl. It’s also curious that he’s slept within 3-feet of it all afternoon. I’m hoping this product is worth it in the long run and can encourage my guy to drink more water. One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent vendor response. Works great and pets love it! The reservoir is large and big enough for our cats and they love using it. It stopped working for a bit and I contacted support@rellaty.com. They responded within one day. I received instructions on how to clean it and works fine. They also offered a new pump since the purchase was within 18 months of purchase. I do recommend this fountain, just make sure you clean it thoroughly every two weeks! One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars 4 cats and a fountain My 4 cats love this fountain! They range in age from 4 months to 17 years and it’s a hit with all of them. I have had it for 6 months without any issues thus far. I like how easy it is to see when water needs to be added. The only thing I don’t like is the need to change the filters at least once a month. They get gross and you can’t wash them out and reuse. Outside of that, I love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cleanest and Long Last Pump So Far I've bought numerous water fountains prior to this one and they tend to break or need additional cleaning after a short period of time. This one is metal and cleans easy as well as has two filters to keep the water clean. The light on the front helps keep an eye on water levels, and the pump is so quiet! Very pleased with this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Alternative to Cat Begging for Water in the Sink! Our cat used to like to beg for water from the sink. Which is fine once a day, but we can't leave the sink dripping all day for her. So we bought this - it took a couple days for her to really start using it, but now she uses it all the time. I like the stainless look of it as well. It is quiet and does hold a lot of water, but there is an easy to see water level on the side so you know when to fill it up some more. Overall, if you've got a cat that likes running water to drink from, this is a solid choice - recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars My cat loves this fountain Our cat is a little skiddish and we weren’t sure if he would run away from it not knowing how loud it was going to be. It’s not loud at all and our cat loves it. There is a noise, obviously, but it’s a very low hum, but it also doesn’t over power the sound of water trickling. He went right to it, and has been drinking from it ever since.

5.0 out of 5 stars So quiet!!!! I LOVE this fountain! We had a cheap plastic one first. It was so loud! We have had this fountain for 6 days and have already refilled it twice (i have seven cats). I maybe refilled our first one 4 times a month. Obviously my cats prefer this fountain. I can’t even hear it from 5 steps away. One of my cats got feline acne and the vet said plastic food and water bowls can cause it. We switched to this stainless steel fountain, (as well as a metal food bowl), got her some antibiotics and it’s already gone. Would 100% recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what a fountain should be! I purchased this fountain a couple months ago based on reviews and to replace a much lesser quality fountain. I am so glad I chose this one. It is extremely easy to set up and even better? It is extremely simple to clean. Most of it can go right in the dishwasher. My previous fountain was just awful because it would get so slimy on the inside within a couple days. I spent more time cleaning it than my cat did drinking out of it. This one is nothing like that. I clean it out once every week to two weeks. No slime at all. The fountain is also very quiet. the only noise you hear is the water trickling now and then. My cat loves the fountain as well. She drinks more now and doesn't turn away from it like she did with the old fountain. Excellent product and highly recommended!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great water fountain for cats...my dog likes it too. I love this water fountain for my cats! They love the fresh water although they were a bit scared of it at first. It holds enough water that I do not have to worry about refilling more than once or twice a week. Cleaning the fountain is pretty easy as it all comes apart and brushes are included to clean the hard to reach areas. The foam piece is easy to clean and the filters last quite a while! The looking glass with the light is a nice touch so you can monitor the water level and ensure the pump doesn't run dry.We've had it for a little over six months and the only complaint I can think of is that I wish it was wireless so it didn't have to be near an outlet.
