4.0 out of 5 stars I'm happy with this set I'm happy with this set. In fact, I bought two sets and have 4 "drawers" set up in a cupboard under my printer. Hold all that I need there - paper, cardstock, photo paper and ink cartridges. The drawers seem sturdy enough. Extra two drawers fit perfectly into a standard K-Mart, Target 12" white fiberboard cubes. I do have two cubes together in that photo, so they are 24" deep, so the set does go deeper than the 12"PS - looks like my photos are going to appear sideways - no idea how that happened. I took them, and have them on my desktop, as straight up!! And yes, I just cleaned out both of those cupboards!!! 14 people found this helpful

But they work so perfectly in my home office application that I’m going with 5 stars. I’m using them to store paper, envelopes and sheet protectors above my printer. I got the silver, which is a perfect match for the Elfa platinum drawers down below. And the slight setback of each bin as you stack them fits perfectly 3-high on my 14” deep Easy Track system shelf. Pricey, but I’m pleased overall.

1.0 out of 5 stars paper trays may be vertical but the bottom holder is definitely horizontal. I purchased these for a small space on top of a metal cabinet under my desk. I measured and could fit a vertical paper tray with my measurements in mind. When I received the item I noticed that the bottom holder was horizontal, who does that? If I painstakingly chose a vertical system, why would it be okay to put the opposite type of holder on the bottom? One of my worst mistakes ever.

3.0 out of 5 stars Does the job, but not sturdy enough This is a good product if you want to have stackable shelves on your desk.Regarding the product build, the material seems a little flimsy and of poor build. The wired mesh bends easily, so it might not hold too many heavy stationeries.The shelves are deep, so works for shelving papers. At the same time, this makes it difficult to reach the very the end of the shelf(if you’re using all 2 or 3)I ordered it but returned because it seemed a little too congested on my desk, and I had little to shelf after I organized my office.If you’re in the market for shelving posts and papers on your desk, go for it. 4.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy But Smaller Than Advertised I'm giving this item a decent review even though I'm returning it. The description lists the width as 10.9 inches and says the trays will handle file folders. Wrong on both counts. The OVERALL width of each tray is about 10.9 inches but look closely and you'll see the sides are tapered inward. The actual usable width of the bottom of each tray is only 9 inches. A normal, tabbed file folder for letter paper is 9.5 inches wide. Folders need to curl to fit.I will say the item is easy to assemble and is sturdy, not like some plastic trays. For most applications, it would work fine. Just be aware of the width restriction. One person found this helpful

I purchased this and now have a 3 tier tool rack on the self in the garage.I was tired of rooting thru the wrenches and pliers. Used this to separate them - worked good for me.IF you want to se for office - it does seem sturdy for that. One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Work great stacked together. I bought two sets of these to use in my classroom for my students to turn in their papers each class period. The little lip under each tray allowed me to label them for the classes. The ability to stack all six of them really was a great feature and once put together, they have proven to be sturdy and work well without falling or slipping off the table.I like that they are deep instead of wide since they take up less room on the counter top so I can have other items there like hand sanitizer and other things needed in the classroom.Will definitely look at getting these if I need any other paper trays to sort and store things. 3 people found this helpful

They are just the right size and the rubber feet should protect the piano top from any damage. My only complaint so far is that the base assemblies are loose below each tray - they do not click in, so they flop down when I lift a tray unless I intentionally grab under the assembly. 4.0 out of 5 stars Product is working for my needs. I bought these because I was looking for a specific size and shape to store card stock. I fixed the complaint about the feet coming off when moved. I made them more stable by simply adding a small zip tie to the front bar underneath the basket. Tying the basket and the bar together.

4.0 out of 5 stars Could be better but is OK The only problems I see is where each tray snaps onto the bar it’s very loose and the legs don’t snap in well either. I like that it’s all metal but it’s not overly stable, however we left the legs off and for paper documents it’s fine.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's a good organizer, but too many separate pieces Expected it to require some assembly, but this is too many pieces that don't stay together well. It came with 3 baskets, 3 brackets that allow the baskets to stack, and 12 rubber tips that serve as feet for the bottom bracket and partially secure the upper baskets. I used a bunch of small black zip ties to hold the parts together so that the organizer can be moved without falling apart, and now it's a pretty good organizer. With these components being so modular, there are a lot of options for stacking multiple sets of these baskets.

4.0 out of 5 stars Stackable Desk Trays It went together easily. I like the stands and did realize it said stackable. Unfortunately I am used to ones that can be snapped together when you don't need all of them to be moveable. I resolved the problem for me by using long thin black wire ties to hold the bottom two solidly together. It blends well. Now it is stable for my needs but leaves the top one moveable when I need to take it elsewhere.

You had to carefully put it together and it really didn't stay stacked until I put some product on it aka weight. I needed more so I went with another type of black mesh letter trays as I can't have them falling apart every time I need to get a piece of paper out of a section. 4 people found this helpful

I have a desk with a fixed shelf, and I was happy to find this fits perfectly underneath. It works great for organizing my two children's schoolwork plus a spot for my items as well. It was very easy to assemble - the directions were a tiny bit confusing, but when I figured out how it went, it went together quickly. I also like that the bottom has rubber so it does not scratch the surface of my desk. This is a nice sturdy material, not a cheap plastic like so many others I've seen. 3.0 out of 5 stars Feet are not secure, hope you don’t plan on moving these with ease. This is a strange set of document organizers. I expected 3 pieces that could easily be moved around or stacked as needed, but the footed stands don’t attach to the bottom of each tray. They just sit on top of the feet, so when you pick one up to move it, the feet detach and you have to line them up again. The feet do attach to the top of each tray if you’re going to stack them. So if I need to separate the trays from the stack, I end up with a tray with the feet attached to the top, not the bottom. So weird. I don’t feel comfortable using them as individual trays because of this, so I have them stacked together for my daughter’s homework sorting. So far it’s working, but I’m worried that she’ll attempt to move them and the lower feet will just fall off. It already happened twice to me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works for my needs I had ordered the cheaper version of this item that has you put the paper in landscape "mode" instead of portrait which took up too much space on the bottom shelf of my printer stand. Now I can squeeze a box of tissues in for more room. Sadly the trays don't slide out, but I suppose that is the trade off for having a unit that is shorter in height to fit under the printer. Other than that, easy to "put together" and shipped in one day. Now I can go back to working from home during the pandemic like a boss!

I have an entire ream of typing paper on one and there is not structure damage. The only "concern" I had was there were more pieces than I needed to put them together so I'm wondering if I have put them together correctly. But whether I put them together right or wrong they are working perfectly.

4.0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive and perfect size for my needs I ordered 5 sets of these to help organize our home papers and kids school papers. The dimensions are perfect for use on our bookcase. My main complaint is that the shelves aren't attached to each other. They simply stack on top of each other. This is a problem for my kids because they can be rough with them and knock them askew easily. As long as your careful when pulling items in and out, it's fine. I have mine wedged in with other baskets so that helps keep them from completely falling down if the kids accidentally bang them. All you have to do is put the racks through the holes of each tray and put on the little rubber stoppers. Each tray slides into the rack of the one under it. They seem pretty sturdy so far.

4.0 out of 5 stars Letter-size wire baskets Couldn't find in the description or figure out from photos if these would hold legal sized papers. They don't - unless you want the paper sticking out. So if you have that you'll have to fold it or get something else.These hold about two inches of paper in each basket. They are easy to put together and stackable (obviously), can get as many as you want and stack as high as you want. Not very sturdy. Live in Florida now, but in California where I used to live, this would be in danger of falling over in earthquake. If I had a cat or something and it rubbed up against them, it would knock it over. So be warned of that. Otherwise look like and functional.
